Went in for the first time with a couple of friends, although they didn’t have the record I initially wanted the owner was super helpful and friendly. You could see his passion for the music in the shop and he said he’d keep an eye out for it next time for me. I told him I was looking for instrumental jazz and he recommended me two records he had. Bought them and played them as soon as I went home and instantly fell in love with them.

Really great destination in Tracy worth visiting if you wanna make a little day trip. Right in downtown Tracy..grab a drink and food afterwards. They had tapes that amazed me any store would have. Their record collection is AMAZING. The two guys there are real cool. So if you wanna see a record store this is it!!!

Great place to dig for used vinyl Check all the crates. Goodies abound. Particularly good selection of 50's through 80's rock and soul. Also a good place to find a killer lounge or Hawaiian album. Cool atmosphere too. Oh and real treasures if you collect tapes in the tape racks.

For new vinyl there is a small but well curated selection of new vinyl on the walls. Got a great reissue of London Calling by the Clash here.

Do a deep dive on the 45's as well and you will be pleasantly surprised. I found a Kate Bush "Running Up That Hill"and was very happy.

If your a vinyl head support Tracy's only independent record store.

Peace.

Great place! They got a ton of records with some ridiculously low prices and tge staff was friendly. I love the selection of rock and jazz. Not only that, but they have posters, comics, trading cards, collectibles, and even audio equipment! My only complaint is that the place is a bit small, but I guess that can't be helped. Definitely check out if you live in Tracy.

At first I thought Blast from the Past sold old toys/collectibles/comics but I was pleasantly surprised to have found it to be a music shop. They have a large selection of both new and used vinyls, cassettes and cd's.

A good shop for collectors old and new.

Great prices, clean vinyl. Always has something random playing on the record player. Lots of comic book stuff, and vintage gizmos and gadgets. So much good stuff. Don’t miss it.

I highly recommend if your in the market for records and CDs.

Support Mom and Pop shops!
Locally owned.

Visiting from SoCal and decided to look for record shops nearby. Nice little place. It is a very laid back spot. Guys there aren't over your shoulder looking to see what you're doing. Lots of older records, 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s, and some newer stuff. Plenty of other stuff; jazz, blues, children's, and ithers on vinyl. Priced well, at least a little better than Doscogs, considering shipping cost. CDs also sold here,, some comic books,, and a few sports cards adds to the charm of this shop. Will definitely stop by everytime I'm in town.

Really neat shop with a wide variety of items, including old LP's, baseball collectibles and many other hard to find items! It's a great place to browse around and shop for a unique one of a kind purchase or gift! The owner Mike is very friendly and helpful! Nice downtown location!

Love coming to Blast and always coming across something new. Great place any day, but rainy days heighten the already comforting and nostalgic atmosphere. Comics, music, collectibles, etc.
