If you are visiting the area to fish, make sure you stop by the Navarre location. Their customer service is unmatched and they will point you in the right direction to get on some fish. I have never been shorted when getting live bait here which seems to be a problem at other tackle shops and they support their local fisherman

This place is outstanding, the people, the inventory, the atmosphere, I would love to work there. It was my first time visiting, I haven't been saltwater fishing in a years and the two I talked with gave me some advice, one guy and one female, I wish I could remember their name so I could them thanks again👍🏿

After scouring the area for the perfect spot to purchase our crabbing gear, we stumbled upon this local gem in Navarre. Let me tell you, we couldn't have been more impressed with the selection and value. Despite its small size, this fishing equipment store offered a variety of high-quality gear that surpassed even the likes of Walmart.

TL;DR - Don't let the size fool you, the shop's inventory and friendliness put it head and shoulders above the competition.

From the moment we stepped inside, the friendly staff greeted us with warm smiles and were more than happy to share their expertise. Their knowledge and recommendations helped us choose the right equipment for our crabbing adventure, and the value they offered was simply unbeatable. Honestly, I never thought I'd be praising a local store for outshining a mega-corporation like Walmart, but there you have it. Walmart offered $55 for a big crabbing cage, whereas Half Hitch offered 2 smaller cages that was equivalent to that one cage, 2 crabbing lines I could use to actively crab while waiting on the cages, and 2 nylon ropes that were 45' long, all for under $40!

In conclusion, if you're in the Navarre area and in need of fishing equipment, don't hesitate to stop by this store. With their impressive inventory, superb value, and outstanding service, you're in for a treat. I promise, you won't be disappointed.

Had everything I needed to catch my kayak snapper from tackle to bait. Always stop in when I'm in town.

That girl Jesse and her red headed son who work there were incredibly helpful! The red head knew everything and set me up with a rod, reel, line, lures, bait, hooks, tied my knots, gave me casting lessons, taught me how to set the hook, and told me I was handsome. To top the experience off, while the red head was helping me, Jesse looked after my twin daughters and even changed their diapers and fed them while I was busy. This was above and beyond service with a smile. This was service with a massage and happy ending. Will deff be back!

Very helpful staff great saltwater tackle and very conveniently located on Hwy 98 near the water. Prices were reasonable and the selection of ZMan lures was great very hard to find back home.

I lost the insert of end guide on my rod. I took it by Half Hitch Tackle in Navarre FL and they put me on a new on for $8 Very reasonable and the had it ready to go in about 10 minutes. Very happy with the quick turnaround. I wasn't even done shopping for lures by the time they fixed it!

Definitely will shop with them again next time we come to Navarre FL.

Came in a couple times during my vacation. They spooled three reels for me and gave me a lot of recommendations for fishing. I'm not overly familiar with salt water fishing so it was very helpful. John set me up with the right line for each reel and a couple rigs and lures for the fishing I was wanting to do. Came in a second time to get setup for shark fishing with some of the Ladyfish I caught the day before. John was very helpful once again and gave some more tips. I thoroughly recommend this place to get helpful tips on the local fishing in the area. You want get that at the big box stores.

Absolutely love half hitch. It's one of the best tackle shops around in my area. Decent pricing and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
