The Hideaway Retreat is a gem! Beautiful magnolia and oak trees throughout the property provide shade. The beach is dog friendly which is extremely rare around here. It’s close to everything and the sunsets are spectacular. Everyone that works here is friendly and helpful. We will be back.

Great location. Lots of trees but sites were positioned in such a way that I had no problems getting my 34' 5ther parked. Dog beach times were easy to enjoy. Laundry and bath house was adequate. Would definitely come back if we get the opportunity.

The Hideaway is a beautiful oasis with its own beach on the Sound with lots of room for walks. The sunset views are gorgeous. The whole campground is lovely with a gorgeous tree canopy. The place is well maintained with a friendly and helpful staff. We definitely plan to return.

What a Great Place to stay!!! Great people, location, beach, and grounds---The Total Package. Jeannie is wonderful to work to get you precisely what your looking for (e.g. beach front vs. shady secluded site), they have them all. Sam/Judy/Madi are joy and swiftly follow up on any question. Being new to camping, I had a bunch 😊. All the people I have met have all been return customers. I was lucky, book soon they do fill up fast.

My wife and I had some last minute events that almost forced us cancel our trip sadly, but Jeanie was awesome and worked with us! She was able to reschedule us a couple weeks out with the same spot we reserved with no fees. Great customer service and very understandable.

We had SUCH an amazing stay at the Hideaway Retreat! As soon as you pull into the property, it feels like you’ve suddenly arrived at a peaceful oasis. The campground is so picturesque with the glowy white gravel, beautiful oak trees and foliage, the sunlight, and the view of the water. The waterfront is private and very serene, it’s a great spot to enjoy and relax for the afternoon or watching the beautiful sunsets. The staff members are very hospitable and will help their guests in anyway they can. You can tell they work hard to maintain this gem of a campground. Water, electricity and sewer hook ups are available along with laundromat and bath houses for your convenience. It’s located close to Navarre Beach, shops, grocery stores and local restaurants. You’ll be very hard-pressed to find another campground like this in the area, it’s truly the only one like it! I suggest that if you have a camper trailer or a big drivable RV and you’re coming westbound on highway 98, to go past the campground(which would be on your left) and coming in from the eastbound side instead because there are no turning lanes on 98 for the campground. Look for the office right when you get there to check-in and the staff will guide you to your reservation. Trust me, you’ll benefit greatly from their help especially if you’re navigating the campground for the first time. 10/10 would recommend this amazing campground!!

Great little Rv park right on its own beach. Very peaceful. Some road noise, but it dies down at night. Excellent rates. This is old Florida at its best. I camped here for two nights.

I hate to leave a review only because this hidden gem is only gonna become more popular! The campgrounds were wonderful!! The staff was great and very helpful. The restrooms and showers were great! The view and the beach area were beautiful! We enjoyed relaxing on the beach area in the morning and evening especially. It’s a very quiet and relaxing campground, just what we were looking for. We were close to everything in Navarre. It is very convenient. We can’t wait to come back especially for the new Moke rentals they will be offering!! Book your stay! You won’t regret it!

Cozy campground with beautiful trees and atmosphere. Each site has a nice layer of light colored rocks to keep the area from being wet and muddy. Enjoyed meeting other campers at the community campfire. Not a lot of privacy at our site, which was right next to community activities, but fun if you want to meet people. There are other sites that had more privacy and some have a view of the bay. I would recommend calling to reserve your site so the staff can accommodate your needs and expectations. Overall a very beautiful place to stay with a small beach to enjoy! Pet friendly and dogs have special allotted beach time. 🐾 Compared with the other RV campgrounds that were nearby, this one was a much better choice!! We would stay there again!!

Not your typical campground,Had a great week at the Hideaway! It was quite, clean and welcoming, all the other campers were super friendly and peaceful. Only about a quarter of the sites were rented, I'm not sure if it was due to it being April but it was nice not being cramped like in a standard rv park.. The water was super clean and clear, caught some fish and enjoyed the private beach! 10 out of 10 will be back again!!

My husband remembers this property back in the 80’s and it has transformed into a beautiful oasis. We’ve been coming here for 3 years now. The trees are beautiful which provide ample amounts of shade. The upper sand area is what I enjoy the most. It’s the perfect spot for little kids to enjoy the sound. Bring your raft or small kayak to float around and play on. We even saw dolphins in the water. This property doesn’t disappoint! T

We had the best time here! We brought our camper and 3 dogs for a 5 night stay and loved every minute of it. The sand and water are beautiful, the whole place is right on the water, there's dog time allowed on the beach, and the ambiance of the entire place is absolutely beautiful and charming. Lots of foliage for nice amounts of shade, and the common area is super cute with games and a fire pit. The bathrooms were cute and clean. We will definitely be returning here multiple times this year and for years to come.

Upon arrival, outstretched branches of old growth oaks and magnolias enveloped us like a dappled blanket -- the coziest welcome. Immediately we were transported to another time, tucked away in a hidden sanctuary of greenery above and white coral stones under foot. Every single space is different, allowing for a unique experience with stunning details no matter where you find yourself parked for your visit.
The staff goes above and beyond to ensure your experience is easy & stress free, and that you are comfortable & cared for.
The bath house & on-site laundry are so convenient
My children & I would walk down to the Sound as often as we could to get sun or dip our toes in the sparkling water. We loved meeting all the guests as they came & went; made new friends, made memories, enjoyed roasting marshmallows & playing guitar at the Community Firepit, & above all just felt at peace beneath the dappled sunny ceiling of aged trees.
Jeanie has every little detail thought of to ensure a memorable, lovely experience whether you're staying a month or just a few days. So much thought & work goes into ensure the Vintage park's idyllic feel, and you just know you're taken care of.
We can't wait to be back to the Hideaway.

This place is amazing! Our site was perfect, the owner and staff were amazing and so friendly! They guide you to your site and help you back in and make sure everything is just right at your site. The grounds were very well kept and if you need anything maintenance and other staff are right on it and so friendly! The private beach was amazing and the shallow calm water was perfect for the kids and allowed me to relax and not worry about them. They had a blast catching little fish and crabs. It's close to everything at Navarre beach if you want to go out to eat but we really only did that one night due to the rain because we loved the campground so much we didn't want to leave. I can't say enough good things about this place and the staff...so amazing! We will be back for sure!

I have been fortunate enough to work at The Hideaway for the past five months and it has been the best job I have ever had. Upon arrival you will be captured by the scenic views of the sound from the private beach and the huge trees that completely shade the property, the most peaceful work environment! The Hideaway has been like a family to me, Jeanie is the best boss, she cares for her staff but has a love for the park like not other. The environment is warm and welcoming all year round and the people you meet here always want the best for you. The kitties and myself have become quite fond of each other and I might have to steal one (don't tell Jeanie) >.< I am leaving because of the Air Force but the short time I had here was so memorable and I know i'll be back to visit, either to say hi or in 10 years when I own an RV myself hah! If you're looking to camp on vacation or a monthly in the winter I 100/10 recommend The Hideaway. :)

Be careful not to miss this gem, it is literally a hideaway from the main road. I have not stayed at a place with as much charm as this. Definitely staying here again when we’re back in the area.

We are obsessed with this place and the location. The campground alone is gorgeous with all if the trees and white sand. The beach they have on-site is well kept and the water is gorgeous. Our dog was scared of the water but was happy to sit in the sand. We will be repeat customers for sure!

The Hideaway Retreat in Navarre Beach, Florida is one of our favorite places to camp in Florida. We've had the chance to camp in our school bus twice in the past couple of years and plan to next time we are in the area as well. The campsites and facilities are well kept and very clean. Additionally, the staff is extremely friendly and very helpful. We recommend this place to all of our friends and family traveling in Florida.

I’m so glad we found the Hideaway Retreat and had a lovely couple of nights camping here. The property is beautiful and cozy and the people were so friendly and helpful. It was so nice to be in a relaxed atmosphere with dog friendly beach access. I loved all the trees and the wooden swings by the campfire. I hope we can make it back for another stay!
