Food Lion

After three trips that I tried to see the manager, Mr. Jackson, and my timing was off, I decided to post this review because I believe it needs attention. Last week, while waiting in line, one of the cashiers, Eric, was being cussed out by a descrumpled customer. The customer made sure they were heard by all, and there were many of us in line waiting patiently. Keep in mind,
I had no idea what transpired between the two; but apparently, the customer was going through a rough time and decided to take their problems out on an employee. As I watched and waited in the long line, the employee continued to act courteously and professionally without missing a beat. Once I finally made it to the register, I spoke up and told him how well he maintained his composure. I'm giving Eric 5 stars for his professionalism, and hopefully, the manager or the corporate office will see this post. Rest assured, I will continue to ask for Mr. Jackson, the manager to let him know about this exceptional young man.

Best place in town to buy groceries good prices and open more hours than other stores till 1100 every night.

I like this store. It’s welcoming and does not treat you like a criminal the way Walmart does. Here food lion store employees don’t follow you around because you’re not white and they don’t harass you demand you to show your receipt. So yeah food lion is a great store to shop

Stoped at this location for a quick purchase. Pleasant employees, clean store. Plenty of parking.

The best produce. Few cashiers but they are friendly and polite.

Their WIC and Gluten Free Sections are very convenient. Clean store. Meat department and produce selection leave a little to be desired but prices are great.

Sad that the store brand regular pork rinds are still not in, but they had the other flavors. Food Lion pork rinds are my favorite of any store bought brands. Store was crowded but checkout was fast. I love a fast checkout!

I am not crazy about any grocery store. But I have to eat. This place is always cheap, clean, stocked, and has great staff on shift.The lady that works in the butcher shop on Broad River Rd.( I saw her around 4 or so) is great and she deserves to be aknowledged for the great job she does and her great attitude and customer service.

I'm an Associate here and it's a great place to get your groceries. We are Courteous, Friendly, Professional and very Helpful. Our customers should not be hesitant to ask an associate for assistance. We are more than happy to assist you.

I love food lion good customer service. Fresh meat and produce. Good sales every week. No loose buggies in parking lot to possibly damage your car. I have no complaints. Prices may be slightly higher than that other store but its worth it because you don't have to deal with the rifraf.

It was recently renovated, it's not a super large store but I feel it has a very good selection. The Bakery is good & I like their breads. A very large beer & wine selection. Don't expect a lot of unusual choices but they always have fresh seasonal selections, this is June 2020 and peaches, beautiful sweet cherries, watermelon, honeydew are in and they always have sweet yummy kiwi! They carry greeting cards & flowers and fresh raw pet food if your into feeding that?

I love this Food Lion on Broad River Rd. I do almost all of my grocery shopping there. The people who work there are always friendly and helpful. The prices are great. And this store gives their "past sale date" foods to a group that shares food with homeless people. It would be easier for the employees to just throw out this food. Many stores do. But this store shares. For me it's a win win.

For me this Food Lion has came a long way always right good about Food Lions there are always clean and I always in order this Food Lion is no difference it is always clean and you know I always right about how to treat the white people but the last few times I've been in this Food Lion Man something's changed these people are nice and I'll only they got a nice looking good store they treat me nice good job Food Lion I'm glad to see you step it up and took charge and done things right I'm going to tell you again Food Lion you and your employees good job good job good job

Always excellent customer service and the store is always clean. Glad they don't play that elevator music like some store. Keep up the excellent work guys.
