I love this local book store. The owner is very friendly and always willing to help. She puts on cute events for kids and author signings. A great local business.

I first shopped this store when it was in an incubator in Bel Air, and I fell in love with the place. Unfortunately, due to distance, I wasn't able to pop in much before they moved. BUT. That's not the reason I'm writing this.

Get yourself a bookstore like Caprichos, which will readily participate in silly pin promotions associated with a particular book series.

Liz made a point to get involved in the promotion when I asked, and got the first of the two books I preordered to me today. The absolute glee I had opening this present to myself after a rough month...

Very responsive owner. Goes to great lengths to fill obscure book requests. Appreciate the tenacity and knowledge.

Great personalized customer service. Quick responses. And they carry a good selection of signed first editions books!

Lots of genre options and books in great condition! The person working gave us book recommendations based on our purchases and questions. A few finds seemed a little over priced but overall it was a great shop. I'm sure we will come back the next time we are in the area.

Shop local at this cute and quirky bookstore. We always stop in when we are close by. They have reasonable prices with great customer service and if they don't have what you are looking for it can easily be ordered.

Fabulous book store with knowledge and energetic staff, even happened to meet a real life author who was visiting the store and signed books without batting an eye! Cool place!!

Cute shop! It is smaller, but has a solid variety of genres and authors, as well as prices. Grabbed several books for under $40, some from the $1 rack outside 👍

Going completely virtual with Pop-Up Bookstores on the horizon?! I'm excited! Caprichos has been my favorite independent bookstore since they arrived in my life and now they can remain so, no matter where life takes me! 😄

Some reasons why I love Caprichos:
1) They've always delivered, whether they had my request on hand or had it shipped in. Never disappointed!

2) They've always been a liaison for local artists to display and sell their Jewelry, Paper Crafts, Cards, Bookmarks, and other wonderful handmade treasures.

3) They've inspired young readers & connected local writers through story-times, community events, and book signings.

4) Liz has always been welcoming, regardless the time of day or weather.

5) I could never walk out of the shop with /only/ what I came for 😅

6) I love that they carry quality used books. Meaning, some books are definitely well-loved, but they don't smell rotten! I'd much rather re-home a wonderful copy than see it tossed for a new print 💜

Caprichos Books is more than a book shop! It's a place where people come together to share their craft and support one another. Liz is so supportive of the community and has such a wide range of events and offerings at her shop. It's been so great to have this small business in our town. We adore Caprichos Books! The customer service is stellar and we have ordered lots of books from them. We've always been happy with how fast we receive them. And it's so convenient to order online while still supporting a smal local business where your dollars count!

I have purchased several Signed Ltd Editions from this fantastic store over the years, and have always been very happy with the service and care shown by Liz and her team. My books arrive in fantastic condition thanks to the extra care given to posted orders, a massive Thumbs up 😁👍👍for the extra bubble wrap.
So if you are in the area and are in need of a book or three, or if like myself you order online, Caprichos Books is certainly the place to grab what you need.

Best local book store in Bel Air and best book store I’ve ever been too!! Very friendly, clean and helpful! Lots of great, gently used books and also lots of new books also! My kids loved coming here, before COVID, and then Liz supported us by hand delivering books to our mailboxes! Great place! Highly recommend! Incredible independent bookstore!! Their selection is super wide, even including some books signed by the author! I ordered a book from them, and they went above and beyond fulfilling my requests. Liz is the BEST

Had a really pleasant experience with the owner Liz (hope I got the name correctly).. the shop is just the right size... nothing like a good used book store!!! Belair sorely needed one!! Best part of my visit was that her n I are Stephen king lovers! Watching castle rock now so her n I can discuss next time I visit the shop...

This independent small book store is full of charm. There is a comfy reading corner, new and recycled books, and unique gifts. The store hosts book clubs and offers their space for scouts and other community groups. Liz will order our track down any book on your wish list.
My favorite thing about the store is the collection of books from local authors and the events the store hosts.

I have made several purchases through Caprichos Books specifically for signed copies of Star Wars books. The customer service is the best and extremely responsive if you need anything and if there are updates for the book. The books have been sent with care and very quick as well. While I believe strongly in local indie business it is amazing that with the power of the internet you can support indie bookstores that aren't locally as well.

They offer more than Star Wars as well so check them out as well for books in general.

Lovely little bookstore! I found books and puzzles, and Liz has order a book for me to check out.
