One of the few last remaining upscale stores. Service is top notch. A special thanks to Carolyn. She’s the most amazing person. Even if I’m not in the mood to buy something she will help me find something nice. The store is meticulously kept and it’s a true pleasure to shop there!

My wife and I had an excellent experience this afternoon at the Clarins counter at Bloomingdale's, Chevy Chase. Lucy gave us both facials, and this was my first, ever.
She was very professional and extremely knowledgeable and we enjoyed speaking with her. My wife has sensitive skin and knows quite a bit about skincare and related products. My wife made a reasonably large purchase afterwards, and was quite happy with the experience. I'd definitely make the trip back to this location to work with Lucy when choosing a gift at the Clarins counter. 5 Stars+. Thank you Lucy! Charles

Great selection of high end clothing for a reasonable price. Love this store. So glad they are still thriving and doing business. Nothing beats good old fashion trying clothes and touching them before buying.

I've never been here before, it's such a nice experience...I spend like half hour talking with Alejandra, she's the seller for House of Sillage brand of fragrances, which is spectacular!!!Thanks for your help Alejandra😉

Ellie, counter manager at Dior, and the counter manager at Creed provided excellent customer service as I picked up a Father’s Day gift for my husband. They were patient with my daughters while I shopped and even made them little goodie bags which they loved. They also validate your parking with a purchase. Watch out for the hot bar at Whole Foods which is in the same parking garage. I paid $17.00 for two small boxes of food for my kids and a bottle of water.

Great service. It wasn’t clear where the curbside pickup was for online orders because I didn’t see any parking that wasn’t in the garage. So I had to drive around a few times until I found one on the street.

Customer service is top notch, brands are nice, tailors on site. It's expensive, but duh, it's Bloomingdale's.

Remzee Knuckles, counter manager for YSL offered exemplary customer service on me and my partner’s recent visits. She has genuine warmth and a friendly demeanor that put us at our ease right away. She took her time really listening to our needs and over delivered! She is a great saleswoman as well as she introduced us to several new fragrances and shared her knowledge about them.

Today, I visited Bloomingdale’s store to buy a tie for my husband. I met Sean, who works at the men department. He was extremely helpful. Not only did he help me pick up 2 ties. He also showed me the make up area where I bought a few things. Sean got the ties wrapped up for me. All of this was done with a pleasant attitude. Sean exceed Ed my expectations. He needs to be recognized for his hard work, pleasant attitude and professional.

I am a frequent shopper at Bloomingdale's in Friendship Heights Washington DC location. I enjoy purchasing high quality luxury goods for my family and friends. In addition, I am thrilled that I can have my selective goods gift wrapped beautifully in the gift wrapping department. Tracey Mceachin does an excellent job wrapping each of my presents with good taste and great details. She is definitely an asset to this store. I will be doing a lot more shopping at this store because of her exceptional professionalism.

The lady working at Jo Malone is the sweetest. We went in to buy gifts for our guests at our wedding. She was very professional, considerate, and wrapped the gifts to perfection! Everyone else working there was also soooo professional. The young gentleman working at diptyque heard we are getting married soon, gifted us a small cup cake! I love this department store, the people are the most precious, made us feel at home. I highly recommend ❤.

The manager of gift wrapping and the employee named Tracy did an amazing job wrapping my gifts. I was very impressed by the detail and meticulous measures they took to make sure each gift was wrapped perfectly. I will continue to shop profusely at Bloomingdale's because of this very reason. They were exceptionally nice and professional.

Plug for actually going into this Bloomingdale’s instead of online. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, the store itself is lovely and in store purchases keep our local community employed (online is a completely separate division). Also, parking is super easy (ample even on the weekend) and they validate so it’s free. I purchased items in homewares, kids and cosmetics and each staff person who helped me was delightful. I also ordered a few things that will be shipped free to my home within the week. Highly recommend, I will definitely return.

This particular Bloomies always looks clean, even in the areas that I always look at (on top of fixtures, view from escalators etc). This store is an absolute joy to visit; the simple tragedy is that very few people were making use of the store, which is astonishing.

I grew up in DC. What is there to say about Bloomingdale's in DC other than its not Bloomingdale's in the NYC, which is a total luxury experience! Nonetheless, Bloomingdale's is Bloomingdale's, and this location is especially essential as an upscale bricks and mortal shopping experience because there is no longer any other major upscale department store offering -- other than Saks Fifth Avenue-- nearby. Neiman Marcus, Saks, and Bloomingdale's were the upscale trifecta, with Lord & Taylor's closing in fourth place pre-pandemic. Nowadays, it's a memory! So, if you're tired of shopping from home for upscale goods and you’re looking for high-end products with high-quality, pleasant shopping atmosphere and engaging staff, this is the place for you. Also, there are several great restaurants nearby to get a bite to eat after all that shopping!
