I am a devout Amazon shopper, but BirdWatchers has consistently demonstrated that they can compete against larger shopping venues like Amazon & Wal-Mart in terms of value ($ per pound), knowledge of the area, and an truly enjoyable shopping experience.

The owner is exceptionally helpful and welcomes you wholeheartedly in to his store. He obviously takes pride in his business! Nice selection of children’s bird books. Make great gifts for the grandkids!

Stopped by for the first time today with my 2 year old who is obsessed with birds and we LOVED it! Theres a great variety of different types of bird houses, feeders and food BUT also informational pieces that explain the different types. I actually learned so much in my visit and the owner was very helpful! My favorite part in the whole store was the kiddie area to entertain the little ones while you shop! This store was great, highly recommend and will definitely be coming back!

This store is fantastic! The staff helped solve a thorny issue with installing a deck hook finding just the right one. He patiently explained the various bird houses and seeds. I can't see myself buying bird feeding supplies any where else.

Malinda and her staff are impeccable in assisting with the selection of bird feeders and the seeds that go with them. With their help, I installed a 4 feeder pole system that attracts Woodpeckers, Gold and House Finches, Cardinals, Blue Jays, Mourning Doves and some I can't even name yet. The pole baffle keeps the squirrels off the feeders, so they stay on the ground and get the seeds dropped by the birds.

The gals at BirdWatchers really know their stuff. Highly recommended for anyone in Midlothian, Powhatan, Chester, Richmond or anywhere in Virginia! Worth the travel time!

Love the store. The owner spent time planning the perfect Shepherd hook setup to give to my wife for Christmas. Now we are enjoying birds feeding from our slider window. Prices are competitive and you can’t put a price on excellent customer service and great shopping experience.

Not only is the store well organized with a great variety of items pertinent to bird watching, but also a conversation with the owner reveals her genuine concern for the well being of all animals.
