Legendary Games Lexington

I have been to many games and hobby shops, but this one on North Ashland was really nice. Chiefly a board and Card Game store, they are big, clean and prices are very competitive. They have tables in the back for gamers too! The clerk that helped was very friendly and quite knowledgeable. A good experience for an inexperienced gamer like myself. Worth a visit!!

This game shop is organized well and has a welcoming atmosphere. I came in to look for a game for my sister and the employee working there, Julia, gave me an overview of several different games and was very friendly. She was super knowledgeable in the games. Overall, I was happy with their selection of games and impressed by the customer service. I’ll be there again.

Great game store with a nice gaming area in the back. Very friendly and helpful personnel. Has some nice unique touches with coin slot card machines and such.

Don't be fooled by the modest storefront! This place is huge!! They host Friday night Magic - 6:00pm for Commander, 7:00 for modern, and 7:30 for draft. Staff is friendly and the place is notably very clean. They have a pretty exhaustive selection of minis for D&D and other games, as well as a fairly well stocked MTG selection.

Drove a hour to take my son here last night to sell some cards for the first time. Employees were friendly helpful & knowledgeable. Very nice clean store with plenty of inventory. I wanted to spend all my money. I will definitely be back. 100% recommend.

I see the star rating difference between the two locations and understand why! Dylan at the Lexington store is EXCEPTIONAL. While I explained my newness to the game and came with many questions, he was patient, pleasant and informative. He offered many solutions and ideas to what I was doing with a couple precon decks. This is the kind of person a business can be built around! What a great experience and atmosphere Dylan makes at your business. 5 stars + !!

Glad to have an well-stocked game store with a large and clean playspace to use in Lexington. They host many magic events and are starting to host drafts and other events that will hopefully attract bigger crowds in the future. I am glad that they are very welcoming with their play area, allowing people to play casually for as long as they want. If really gives it a community feel and makes me feel comfortable inviting others.

We appreciate the use of their gaming space for the teen DnD group!

Since getting back into Magic, this has been my one stop shop. They have a great inventory, the shop is always spotless, the crowd that hangs around the store are not typically TCG elitists and the staff has been beyond helpful to me. Would recommend anyone who loves Magic the Gathering or tabletop games visit Legendary!

Great service guy at the counter very nice they have pokemon and magic the gathering collectibles and trading cards and all sorts of different games to play. Would like to see some Yu-Gi-Oh cards though

This place was fantastic! We stopped in a couple times on our short time visiting up here and every time, the employees were all super friendly, helpful and incredibly knowledgeable about MTG. They have a really good stock and had pretty much everything we were looking for. Makes me wish we lived closer, I'd love for this to be my local shop!

Organized and clean. Great selection but most importantly some of the most approachable and friendly staff I have met in a gaming store. Shout out to Julie, it took a lot of time to explain and answer all of my questions about games and mechanics. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to get into table top games!

I like to stop at MTG shops when I traveling and this is one of the best I’ve found! If you are an MTG player you know that customer service/ friendliness unfortunately is lacking in most shops, but it is oozing from this couple that owns Legendary! We chatted for awhile about the industry which is also very intriguing to me.

I only bought cards and left so I can’t speak to the crowd that plays there, but if the owners red them, than I can only imagine it’s great people! They also have a vast selection of singles compared to many shops.

Best shop for mtg and other card games. Events always fire. Always have the mtg cards I need. Great prices and they have table top gaming. Stop by and pick up some fun game stuff. Family night can be epic with their help.

Husband and I stopped by here from out of town on our way to Red River Gorge, knowing we would probably play a lot of EDH at the cabin. The woman working in the shop was very friendly, and they had a great selection of sleeves that I needed for a new deck, and a lot of dice to look at as well. They also had every card my husband asked for to optimize one of his decks, and I was able to get every card I asked for as well except one (though, to be fair, I have yet to find ANY shop that actually has a Tinybones). We visited several card shops around Lexington, and this one and CM Games were our favorites. Next time we are in town we will stop by again.

Legendary Games (Lexington ky) is the LGS I've always wanted to find but never thought I would. The owners are amazing/ helpful/ kind people with the best team of employees I've seen at an LGS.
I don't think you could find a better Magic The Gathering community than the one at this store. I have learned so much from the manager Anthony and Seth as well as a fellow player Jordan. Their patience and enthusiasm to help is not something I've experienced at any other LGS. I hope to be as good as Jordan and Anthony one day!
Ps- A year ago I decided that I would stop ordering singles and sealed products online/walmart and give my patronage solely to this shop. I can wait for inventory if it means supporting the LGS I enjoy so much.

I recently started playing magic the gathering and came here to buy cards. The prices were competitive and the staff very helping me in educating me on what to buy. Also, they have a huge variety of board games, tabletop games, card games, every game you can think of. Definitely stop in if you're into any of those types of games.

The store is well designed and stocked with games for every skill level and taste, but it’s the owners that make this place special. Jason and Julia are exceedingly knowledgeable about every product and game they sell. They have a passion for gaming and it shows in everything they do. The effort they make to create a community feeling and to provide a safe and fun place for people to gather is really next level. Thank you so much for bringing this unique store to Lexington!
