St. Vinnie's - Salem Thrift Store

Always good. I love to shop the books and picture frames. Never disappointed when I go to St. Vinnie's here in Salem or down in Albany. Lovely staff that always have a smile to share!

The prices here are great. I love the pricing system for clothing, it makes it easy and fair as all brands are the same price. I'd much rather support this smaller, locally owned business than GW who jacks up their prices so much now! I've found lots of great articles of clothing here! They are usually in great condition too.

I love thrift stores and when I travel I always visit one or two. This was one of my favorites while visiting the Salem area. Lower prices than local Value Village and Goodwill. Wonderful selection of books from $1-3, I bought a bunch of beautiful art books for $1 each. Books organized by topic and alphabetized!! Store was clean and roomy, items seemed overall clean and in good shape.

Nice thrift store. I'm glad they've reopened. In general, they price fairly, but they usually know if they have something valuable and will price accordingly. If you're a reseller, it's not as great, but there are still some treasures to be found.

At first glance this place looks like a junk yard, but don't be fooled. And it is a lot bigger than it looks! Unlike other thrift and charity shops, I could actually find good things really cheap. I picked up an entire wardrobe 2T size name brand (most of it brand new) for ten dollars, five shirts and five pairs of pants. Clothes are well organized, everything else is in categories.

Very nice people working! They were kind and helped a lot! Reasonable pricing and applied all possible discounts at checkout! Definitely coming back when in Salem!

Everything on the long racks is priced the same, depending on the type of item. An example would be 3.99 for all shirts. When you find good quality items, this pricing system means excellent deals!

Prices are very good and the merchandise is nice; a neat place to find kitchen ware,books,clothes,toys and almost any item imaginable!

Great workers. Their displays were very amazing. Would definitely shop again.

There's a copy of Bakunin's selected writings and basic works of Nietzsche in one volume in the philosophy section, if you're interested.
