Village Ace Hardware

Had a great experience. Clerk immediately helped me find the right screw and nut combo. In and out in 2 minutes--would have taken me 30 min round trip to hit Lowes or Home Depot. Glad to have this place on island.

Stopped in the other day for several things. Owner was at the register and very helpful. He even asked me if he could help load my vehicle.

This Hardware store is open from Monday to Sunday. This convenient hardware store has all the necessary tools you need, bulbs, buckets, paint, glue, gardening, and much more. Friendly staff, great customer service performance too!

I have read some of the replies that mention some items being overpriced, but from my shopping experience, the items were fairly priced . The owner’s knowledge in helping me figure out exactly how to put together a workaround for a plumbing project I was working on, was right on the money, and that knowledge was included in the price. Only took the one trip to solve my problem. They had everything I needed.

Classic hardware store feel with misc odds and ends

They literally have one of everything. I prefer this store over home depot or Lowes. Employees are helpful. The store is just an awesome place! Walk in and check it out. You won't be disappointed. NEVER TRY TO RETURN TOOLS. Its a small business and he gives you multiple notices that tools cannot be returned.

I love going to Village Hardware because it's like the hardware stores my father took me to when I was little. Having a local hardware store is such a convenience, and locals get a discount once they've shopped here for a while. Even though they don't have the selection of a larger store, I always try Village first before going to one of the big stores.

Village Hardware (Ace Hardware) is a small, family-owned hardware with a plentiful variety of fasteners, plumbing supplies, small appliances, and anything you need for light DIY home repairs. Because of its location on Coronado Island, the store's prices are higher than a big box store, but the service and expertise is terrific, and worth a visit.

Sure helps me to have a convenient location. Love the mom and pop run store. It would be terrible if these folks were priced out of the neighborhood due to an increase in rent.

Found some cute local San Diego gifts in here for friends and family visiting. Excellent customers service and fair pricing.

The owner and staff are helpful and friendly. If they don't have it, they'll order it for you. You're in a hurry they will suggest where to get what you need. 90% of the time they have exactly what you're looking for!

Only needed painters tape and batteries, they had both, so experience is limited.
