Smart & Final Extra!

Great store along with staff that are nice! The store is very clean and not to busy to pick up small things. The store is like a small Costco with no membership fees. You can buy things in bulk if you need to, also the prices are great. You can also find deals on craft beers here and the selection is always changing. They also have seasonal racks throughout the store along with some children toys too.

We like Smart & Final Coronado, it's great since they have different varieties than other stores, and good prices especially for larger quantities, bulk on some items.
Crowds are usually small in the morning, and parking has never been an issue.

Coffee lover / at home barista heaven. Tons of flavored Torani syrups in the GLASS bottle, Ghirardelli drizzle syrups, coffee, and coffee accessories. I love making coffee and my kid loves making homemade sodas. I'll be back just for these.

Great smaller grocery store, with a very friendly staff. I make a point to shop here, when I'm in town!

Smart & Final Extra is extra. Super convenient and has ample parking on the north side of the Island for day trippers and residents. It’s so easy to get food togo plus they offer free utensils. This is a must for budget conscience Island visitors as an alternative to restaurant dining. Unlike other Smart & Final stores, this store’s quantities and prepackaged foods can be for individual consumers.

This is what is unique with this Coronado Smart and Final Store.
You can do some late night shopping and bring home
some great memories of the beautiful view of San Diego
only blocks east of the store.
(Just go to the Coronado Ferry and keep to your right
until you find some nice parking close to the bay.)
Soak in the sight sites, relax, and take a short stroll
on the walkway that is used for running biking et..
When you have taken in your fill of the beautiful skyline,
swing over to Smart and Final and you have had a great evening
and brought home the bacon or whatever while you were at it.

Good selection of sodas I bought a 24 pack of squirt soda for only 7.99. 👌 10/10 would return. Only issue is paid parking so yeah that's just Coronado for you. This is one of the only grocery stores on the island so I guess you'll just have to accept the options 🤷‍♂

This store is an absolute gem 💎 Super amazing people and great prices. Special shout out to Lily. Over many years she has always been so kind, quick to make us smile 😀 and has always given us the feeling we are part of a family. Exactly why we shop here. Smart & Final Coronado is the best store in the County! Everything looks so nice & clean, stocked well, & employees are friendly. I drive over the bridge just to go there.

Easy shopping that carries my bourbon, so one stop shopping for the coffee we like, nice produce, and cleaning supplies. Friendly staff and quality fresh fruit!! Thanks Celeste!

This is a great convenient grocery store where you can find almost everything! And when I say everything I mean it! You can even find toilet paper and paper towels not to mention rice and other things that other places easily run out!

The store is cool and amazing with great items on sale.

All the workers there cashiers are truly helpful. Boys who always stock up are always making sure that if I am looking for something they are they to help. I even see them push the carts for elderly customers who need help I always come in about 6am 2pm a few times a weeks and that shift is 100% best customers services ever. I go at times just to see there smiles. Thank you smart and final for being so friendly.

Smart & Final is the poor man's Costco. The place with great selection with never than 2 people in at the checkout. Now there are many locations of S&F all over San Diego, but the one Coronado speaks to the expectations and affluence of their local consumers. Produce section is fresh, varied, and reasonably priced. My father called me and asked to pick up Hoisin sauce and they had it! Save time, save money, and save your patience and shop this store.

Out of all the stores Coronado I like going to Smart & Final the most.That just came about in the last few months. There's a young woman there who went out of her way to find me the product I couldn't find on my own. Everytime I go in there she always respectful and engaging in conversations. She makes me feel like a family member or a friend, not a customer. Vons is closer but I go to Smart and Final, because of her positive attitude. Here name is Jae.

This Smart and Final Extra! is a great place to shop. I go there several times a week and I always walk out with more than I had planned to buy. They have a great variety of products and they keep changing them so there is always something new to try. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. Cannot say too many nice things about this store.

I shop at this store very often. Every single time I go into this store I am so impressed with their CUSTOMER SERVICE. I had a situation recently and was in a bind, needing 800 hot dogs and 800 buns.....last minute! A very special thanks to Diane, who made it happen, Mike and Nik for all their help and kindness.

Very good prices for Coronado and very convenient, friendly staff members, shelves are always full and have everything you need.
Also, the donuts are $0.59 and there are multiple selections!!! Best Deals!!!

I visited on Sunday and Jeff was outside making sure the patrons were taken care to "social distance." I came by unexpectedly while riding my bike and did not have my lock. He graciously offered to watch my bike for me while I went inside to buy a few items. Thank you to Jeff for being a wonderful example of how we should treat each other.

Smart & Final is a good grocery store. Perhaps a bit limited in selection to other grocery stores. One doesn't need a shoppers card for the discounts.
