! I had a special request that they were able to accommodate and were wonderful to work with. Safeway has freshly cut meat daily and will cut to order. Amira who works the front end of the store has always been helpful and a great resource. Thanks to all of you!

I love my Safeway. It is clean, bright, well-stocked, and well staffed. The employees are always knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.. Produce and meats are high quality. Best in the area. The only place that comes close is Costco.

Cashiers can make or break someone’s day. A few months ago, I was struggling with a life-threatening condition and a difficult medication that was making me forgetful. I arrived at the Wheat Ridge Safeway and realized I had forgotten my phone. It turned out that the one thing I came for was on a digital sale. Without my phone, I could not get the deal.

I told Amira about my problem and knowing that I shopped there all the time, she helped me to get the deal. I am not a crying woman, but that tiny bit of kindness brought me to tears and I have not forgotten it. I have told so many of my friends about this great customer service and how Amira was an angel for me that day. She’s a gem!

AND.. every time I go there the deli clerks are very attentive..
The other places it's tough to get that good customer service!

It was great! So very clean and all the food is so fresh and carefully laid out. Nice little area with containers of nuts, candy , dried fruits, and things you don't see often.

Update: Used to be a good store to get your prescriptions, but now need to go somewhere else. The new pharmacist here is an A-hole. I recommend going somewhere else, or he'll just complain like a little girl about having to actually work and make excuses of why your prescription wasn't filled. This is still a great place to shop for hot foods and groceries. I love their Cowboy Cookies, and their Nashville Hot Chicken Tenders fresh from the fryer is too delicious. The store employees, not the pharmacy, are the only reason this place is keeping my 5 stars.

Well stocked, super clean not too busy for being rush hour. The pharmacy has the lowest prices when using goodrx discounts!

I really liked this store. The shelves were stocked, the store was clean, staff was professional and so helpful! I have shopped at other Safeway stores that I really, really, did not like: shelves were bare, staff not friendly or helpful. Must give a great big thank you to the pharmacist. He was so helpful, professional and helped me find the medication I needed (I was so confused!). Several staff told me how much they liked their store manager! I will be back!

This is a very high theft store and I feel bad for the employees which might I add are amazing . I will always shop here even if I can't find a cart or a handbasket it's not the stores fault people steal them! But I've seen customers take it out on the employees so sad I believe people just like to complain safeway employees are doing their best .. I'm glad they finally lock the bathrooms. I see less homeless now

First time to this safeway. Found my item quickly and process myself out through the self-checkout. The only thing that is a problem nowadays is that customer service has to unlock the restrooms for you to enter. There are homeless in the area and now several safeways have to take extra precautions.

Didn't find an item I wanted until someone went to the backroom to find the item which did not yet have a place on a shelf.

An anonymous customer, the CS associate & parking lot attendant helped restore my faith in humanity the other day 😍 I lost my grandmother's ring in the parking lot & a kind hearted customer turned it into mgmt 🥰 I frantically asked the parking lot attendant to keep an eye out. As I headed inside I spoke with the manager, who (quizzed me) without hesitation quickly retrieved my dear grandmother's ring! I was sure never to see it again. I just wanted to somehow send appreciation to the anonymous customer of Safeway who did an honorable thing to a stranger. As well as send appreciation to the cs associate & parking lot attendant for their heartfelt assistance 🖤 Thank you.

Very clean and friendly store, staff is helpful and they have been with this employer for a long while. Their produce and meat department always have fresh and delicious products that will satisfy you, your family and friends and neighbors/visitors alike. Worth the extra drive and slightly higher prices. Good Store.

The store was very busy and some were waiting out the rain and hail, but I was still able to get help locating an item.

Go here for the bakery... The bakery at this Safeway blows all of the other grocers away. Lots of fresh baked goods, bread, sweets, fresh and frozen pies. The employees here are always helpful and available. Kelsey and Ben are the greatest bakers in the state.
The rest of the store is pretty typical for a Safeway. There has been a real lack of good sales lately and prices are around the same or slightly higher than King Soopers.
Try to remember to grab a cart from the parking lot on your way in because recently it is common for there to be no carts inside.

I personally enjoy Safeway select products. The quality of Safeway select I can't find in other generic goods. My favorite place to shop right now.

Staff and customers are very welcoming makes me want to go back. Their sales will definitely catch your eye. Stay loyal Safeway and we'll always appreciate the grab and gos. Yours truly Mother Nature

The store has been remodeled lately. Great presentation of fresh good. They have an Amazon locker here. Very convenient. I send my packages here always, no rain, no snow, no fear of getting them stolen.

Their Deli has the best cold salads
