I am 81 years old and I can remember growing up in Long Beach. I lived just down the street of the market at 525 Daisy. That house is gone, but the market lives on. Several years ago I took my wife back to the area to see where I grew up. I was telling about the market as we drove down Daisy and she said "Algoods?" The market was still there. Fond memories of having the butcher let me dig into a large gar of dill pickles he had on the counter. From the reviews I read here, the old Daisy Street Market is alive and well and still at the same location. Don't live there anymore, but I will always be a part of the area.

The people who work there are very friendly and helpful. The owner as well. I go often to shop for things when in a hurry. It's convenient for me

Great customer service, cashier was very polite and made me feel very welcomed in her market. Today was the first time I went there and definitely won't be the last. Looking forward to do more shopping there.

I used to walk to this store for my mother. In those days, I went to buy ground-round, Dr. Pepper, and a snickers bar.. I used to eat the jelly on the fruit danish in the back of the store where the bread ailes used to be.😁

One of the cleaner markets in the area. Pretty standard prices but what really sets them apart is the customer service. Absolutely fantastic, always feel like I'm at home!

The neighborhood Market everyone needs on the corner of their street. A little craving snack, comfort food, or a Cold drink to celebrate the win.

The selection of everyday items is great. You don't have to run over to the grocery store if you run out of napkins.
