Sorry my review is a bit late but I’ve been very very busy 😓. Palama Supermarket! I love coming here. Its small, easy to navigate, not crowded and in my hometown of Aiea so any reason to come back here is a good one because I LOVE AIEA 💖 ALOT. Lol. 😂 came here a-lot when i lived here but after i got married and moved to Wahiawa, barely did, but recently because of many appointments in Aiea I’m back and loving all my old stomping grounds. Nothing fancy, a bit mish mashed but nostalgic in a good way. Plus, i never saw a bug here. Very, very important!!! My mom LOVES their Gobo Kimbap, Chap Chae, and egg omelette. I have a vegetarian friend who’s crazy about their Veggie Kimbap. Buys a Bunch at a time and was the one that recommended the Kimbap here for my mom. I love the BBQ Bulgogi meat, Spicy Chicken and Kalbi you can pick up to take home to pan fry and grill. Also candy sweets and drinks. Decent sake here too tried the cantaloupe 🍈 it was good. Love the lemonade in the bottle and my family loves the tubs of Kim Chee. Sorry I’m lacking in pictures. We ate half the stuff I’m talking about but i will add it in on the next trip. There is a take out inside as well that I haven’t tried yet but i plan to since my favorite Korean BBQ place is far away and the ones in Wahiawa are kinda tanking at the moment. Hope it changes 😓 they used to be good. One is gone. But anyway, i will report future experiences! Support local!!! 😉👍

This is a smaller version of the downtown store. It has everything you need to cook up some major Korean grinds. They also have a small Korean food counter called Waimalu Korean Takeout. Great food! Fresh Kim chee sides. Try the BBQ pork, it's awesome.

I was looking for Asians food then I found it it's all here this store so next time you planning to cook Asian food for dinner I recommend you get here and get it so please support the local business and buy Hawaii Mahalo

Still my go to in Aiea for Korean items. Most items here are authentic make for a great night.

Also available is cooked items. They offer bentos, sushi’s, soups.

If you are having a great yakiniku night, they sell thinly sliced meats and all the sides.

6/11/2021 They had Chocolate Churro Turtle Chips for $2.99 a bag. That's the cheapest price I've seen so far!

Palama Market's products are always well organized. They have some ready to eat items, such as fried mandoo, pumpkin porridge, omelet rolls, tteokbokki, sesame rice ball cakes, and assorted small bentos. Smiling cashiers and a variety of products make this a great place to shop!

My family watches a lot of Korean Dramas so this store Is my go to place to try those side dishes I see in the Dramas, plus the Milkis drinks when it goes on sale and those other take out food items Gimbap, Gyoza, etc.

Typical "asian market". A little bit of everything crammed into a great store. 'Ono food, lots of selections!

I've only recently begun to shop at Palama Supermarket and honestly I was surprised by its cleanliness. I guess I expected something a little more rural looking (insult not intended). Of course there were many Asian type foods and products offered but primarily from Korea. Prices were extremely competitive, I found, and this was surprising to me. What I noticed was that they have Japanese-style foods but imported from Korea which is probably why the prices were so low and good quality. As always be a smart shopper as some items are not that cheap. But overall a very nice experience.

There's a continuous introduction of new food items. Every time I visit I see different offerings.

I enjoy shopping here for variety of dry goods, food products in frozen and chilled seations. My favorite Kalbi Plate at the food concession for lunch or dinner with very reasonable prices compared to other fast food eateries.

Wide range of Asian foods, fantastic kim chee, a great selection of Asian snacks. Hard to not buy something once you enter the store.

Love this little supermarket as they have items that most places don't carry. They also have a little Korean BBQ take-out restaurant inside and a Von's Chicken next to it. It is very convenient when you get the munchies.

Such a good location: easy in and out lot, always can find parking and on my commute route.

Watching my kdramas allows me to periodically see the store ads... so when I see something I want or need... I go to Palama for my Korean noodles, rice cakes, sauces, salted shrimp, chili pepper flakes and when in season... Korean pears... the prices are right...
Learning how to make traditional kim chi...has me going more frequently as my friends love my Kim chi...LOL.
They also have large selection of cooked food to go.. lunch boxes... pancakes, fish Jun, meat jun.. kimbop... bulgogi kimbop... yum.

The guy there was very helpful and friendly. Really helped me with the product I was looking for. Made me feel like going again. The females are not friendly at all, especially the cashiers.

I always go here when I make my Korean dishes. Love it!!

I love this place they have really good produce and the prices are not that bad also i like to come here to pick up lunch they always have something new in the prepared food section .

I love Palama Market. Yes the one in town is bigger but their parking sucks. I can get everything I need here.
