Helpful hardware store where i don’t have to fight crowds and the staff are not clueless milleniels. Also was referred to an excellant dependable electrician Wayne Root/ Tuckahoe Electric. Lastly got our 2018 Christmas tree from their lot, beautiful.....and for a donation to a veterans group a Christmas wreath will be laid at the grave of a veteran

Not only did Pleasants have the obscure sized nut that Lowe's didn't carry, but John rethreaded it on my old bolt and only charged me the price of the nut, 85 cents! So kind. So helpful. Thank you!

Excellent store, well stocked with the best brands, knowledgeable and attentive staff all of which makes sense because the owner is a HSC graduate.

A few years back I stopped coming to this store due to an unpleasant experience with the manager. My neighbor mentioned the store was under new management, so I gave it another try. I was needing a chainsaw because mine bit the dust and when I arrived a young lady approached me to help. She went through all of the chainsaws with me and was patient and kind. I wasn’t ready to purchase yet but had a couple other items to pickup. There was a line for checkout and out of no where the same young lady saw me and opened another line to allow for check out to happen more quickly. I was able to get a glimpse of her name tag and she happens to be the new manager of the store! She joked with me and said I better be back to purchase my chainsaw and get all the items to get my yard ready for spring! I’ll definitely be back for both! This store is a better place with her managing it!!

This is such a great store. The customer service is top notch! I arrived to the store early on Sunday by mistake. I thought that they opened at 8 but they don't open until 9 on Sundays. I decided to wait until they opened. One of their employees, Betsy, saw me waiting and came out to help me 20 minutes before they officially opened. What a great customer service experience!

This made finding the right faucet fitting a snap...

They have a great selection of garden tools! I was very surprised.

When I think of hardware and tools, I think of Pleasants Hardware. They have been my go to hardware store for many years. No matter which store you visit, the employees are always courteous, helpful and knowledgeable about the products they sell. Highly recommended.

Exceptionally helpful and a truly "pleasant" experience. I called ahead to make sure they had what I needed. When I arrived they had my information ready to go and even made sure everything worked before I left the store.

Always nice to see Jim and the other staff. Always nice and very efficient. I go here often, rather than the other stores. We will be back often. Thanks for all your help and advice always a great experience.

A hardware store like the ones I used to go with my Dad ! Helpful staff,good prices. They don't try to do everything like the big box stores, just the essentials. A good neighborhood hardware store.

Ownership has changed a couple times the last several years, but the employees and ethics have not. Well worth paying n extra dollar or two for the help they provide. Special shout out to Ernie, Ruben says hi and hope we see you soon.

I have always been treated well by the staff at this store. I have made multiple purchases here all year round for the past 5 years and the usually have what I need and always offer their professional advice. I love having this store in my neighborhood.

Very friendly staff and great service

The manager Nick at the Midlothian location was an absolute savior. My elderly mother had her mail box broken and Nick helped her not only picking out new components but he also had a gentleman who could install it. It was a huge help to me as I live over an hour away. I wish more people took the time to help other like Nick did. Thank you so very much sir.

Very helpful store folks. Had an exchange and it was made graciously for another product. Better assisantance and knowledge of products than my experience at big box stores.
