Love this store and the owner! So much fun.

Well totally new to Warhammer 40K and miniature painting. Was excited to see that there was a Warhammer store near me. Went down and had an amazing experience. I could not agree more with the other reviews, Carl is the man! He was polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and just a great all around guy. As a newcomer looking to dip a toe into the Warhammer community, he pointed me in the right direction. Now I’m waist deep and going deeper. It’s always a great experience here and I appreciate Carl’s patience with a newcomer to the hobby. I can’t recommend this store enough.

So in the last month or so I became interested in the Warhammer hobby, so i decided to check this store out since its not too far from my home. All I can say is WOW! My experience in this store has been amazing! Carl is one of the nicest and most enjoyable people I've had the pleasure of interacting with. He is very knowledgeable about not only the hobby, but also great at giving advice on painting the minis, which is great for someone like me with no previous experience with it. If i could give it more than five stars I would, cause Carl knocks it out of the park.

Carl is an awesome store manager! He is very knowledgeable on product information along with lore, and he is a joy to speak with. I always have a great time and the trips are always worth it. I will continue going here over any hobby store in the area.

This review is a little late but better late than never! I really wanted to take a moment and thank Carl at the Warhammer store for being a real hero and saving a beast snagged box for me that he had ordered an extra of. He held off many people calling and asking why he still had a box in stock and I am extremely lucky that he went the extra mile to help me out. My Ork army wouldn’t be the same without his help!

This was my first time going to a Warhammer store as well as my first time buying miniatures. It was pretty fantastic! They had everything I was looking for, Carl who helped me find it all was enthusiastic, clearly well versed in the hobby, and fun to talk to! Would recommend Petaluma’s Warhammer store to anyone interested in the hobby.

I drove to the Warhammer store today because I was given way too many boxes of the same type of miniature for my birthday. Carl helped me exchange them for something I really wanted. He was great and knowledgeable. I look forward to returning to the store.

Great store with excellent selection of Warhammer minis. Carl, the manager, is very friendly and helpful! The store is also taking very good COVID safety precautions as well. Hands down the best spot for all your Warhammer needs in the North Bay!

First time heading to this location. The selection of both painting materials and accessories is awesome. Carl was awesome to talk to about both the hobby and the lore of warhammer 40K. He made abiding by the covid restrictions bearable by being knowledgeable and friendly. Bought a hobby mat, a book and a pin. Definitely going back to this location for my future warhammer needs.

So it's my boyfriend's birthday and he loves Warhammer. We are in Santa Cruz and decided to make a trip to my hometown in Fort Bragg and then swing by on the way home. I called ahead and spoke with Carl and he was stoked on the surprise I had planned. They close at 5pm on Sunday's (understandable). We hit traffic and were late. I called and carl let us in! I was super happy and my boyfriend loved it! We got things that we cant find in Santa Cruz. Carl pretty much knows everything there is to know in the Warhammer world and We will be making the trip up to Petaluma just to come by. Thanks Carl!!

Carl (Karl?) was freaking awesome! He set me up with my first box of Plague Marines and was full of knowledge about them and their abilities. He was thorough and made sure I had everything I needed to get started. I will be back again.

Great place to shop for my 40k needs. Can't wait for Stage 1 to lift in this county so we can walk the aisle again. Talk to Carl. He can order in anything if you work with him and tell him what you need

Came in just to check the place out and see some figures. Thanks to Carl’s friendly attitude and helpfulness I ended up picking some paints up and my first Warhammer set, and some paints!! Look forward to coming back when COVID restrictions lessen!

Carl is the MAN! He cares about every single person that walks in that store, whether it’s for a a long time player or someone who’s just getting in to the hobby. My friends and I started playing a while ago now and Carl has been a tremendous help and influence, we couldn’t thank him enough. Funny enough when talk about getting stuff, we don’t ask each other “hey who wants to go to the warhammer store” instead every time it’s “we gotta go see Carl”. He knows us by name and remembers everything from general armies we’re interested in, to the small details like paint jobs. I couldn’t think of anyone better to run that place, he does what he loves and has fun doing it. An overall great guy and to make it better HE ALWAYS OVERCHARGES PLASMA LIKE ME! Thank you for everything you do Carl, and keep keepin it real.

I needed to make a return. Not only was Carl really nice about it, he helped me exchange it for some models and paints that I wanted and made sure I had exactly what I needed. I can't wait to come back once the store is fully open.

A great place to shop for all your warhammer needs. The community is very welcoming to newcomers and provide content for all ages. I went there right after closing time and Carl was kind enough to let me do some last minute shopping.

After a long string of hobby shops that never give that welcoming community feeling walking into warhammer Petaluma was a breath of fresh air. Carl knows his product and the games that go with it. I have been a warhammer fan for a long time and this was one of if not my best experiences at a warhammer (GamesWorkshop) store. Keep up to great work, and I look forward to coming in more and more!

Store manager is super friendly whether you're a first-time or a veteran. Free painting lesson tutorial teaches you how to get started in the hobby. Can't wait to come back and spend more money.

Pleasant conversation with Carl. My friend and I both made purchases and look forward to shopping here more in the future. Once the pandemic subsides more hopefully they'll open more in-shop gaming. I'm encouraged to break out my models and decide what games I want to get into first: 40k 9e, AoS 3e, Kill Team or War Cry...
