In response to many of the comments—- store is very American . Yes, some signs may offend, however ALSO posted is “We ALL have freedom of speech AND the GOOD NEWS is that we ALL are Americans” if we weren’t- none of us could say anything. If you don’t like signs - ok to just go down the street. Any smells - well you are in a shop filled with sea life and hermit crabs- neither smell floral. Yes- there ARE local shells! Best prices in the Village by far. Most all made by hand with half made by hand actually IN the store. Kids love this store- it is a tradition for MANY for generations.
If you own a shop you can put whatever you want in your window and we won’t mind. Enjoy SSI.

It cracks me up how Democrats get offended by this political propaganda, oblivious to the fact that our entire lives/media/news/entertainment/educational system, etc, etc are progressive Democrat Communist propaganda shoved down our throats all day everyday, with plenty of hate and even death wishes. But shame on this one store. Love this store. Got a nice necklace and some shells. Will visit again soon.

Neat store. Items half the price as most of the souvenir stores on the island. The owner was very nice and courteous. The people posting bad reviews obviously get offended easily. It is his store and he has a right to voice his opinion. It’s called freedom of speech. If you don’t like it keep on walking. No need to get offensive. Obviously it is mostly the liberals that feel this way. It is either there way or no way . It is HIS store. He can do as he pleases. I personally think he is a true patriot and loves AMERICA! 🇺🇸😄

We go to Saint Simons island almost every year. Going into this store is a tradition, must stop store. It is very unique from live hermit crabs to shells.

They have lots of shells available for crafts and many items made from shells. I needed a small handful of mini driftwood pieces and the manager did not charge me for those. Isles can get crowded because it's a small shop.

THE OWNER IS SO SWEET, good with kids in his shop, his prices ARE WAY CHEAPER then ANY place I have bin to in the area or any shop I bin to. Yes he has political posters but it is HIS shop. I will shop anywhere no matter who they are supporting, as long as they are good people like this older gentleman. He has a HUGE VERITY, durable items while still being cheap. We purchased a ton of necklaces, beautiful rocks and this was stuff we got 4 months back that are still holding up and our kids can be ruff on them. Again I refuse to hate on a good deal and nice man due to our political differences😀 DON'T LET THE BAD REVIEWS MAKE YOU MISS OUT ON SAVING $$$$$

I love the Store. Owner is very nice unless you're a rude Democrat. 😆 That's his political views and his store so he can put whatever he wants on his store and if you don't like it get over it and move to the next store. Cheap price!!!! I love it.

The souvenirs here were extremely well priced, We were able to buy gifts for everyone and not spend a fortune. However, I will say- if you don’t support trump or consider yourself liberal you might wanna keep walking because this shop owner is very clear in his political standings and Theres a good chance of you getting offended. Lol The whole shop was bashing Biden and Clinton. Cool stuff though at very good prices!

No rating on here should be motivated by political opinion and to see that all of them are is incredibly disgusting. I came in to get a souvenir and got what I came in for. The man was really nice and taught me how everything I got was made and were it was made. Great place to buy from!

Love this place I went in just because of the signs on the windows take a moment and step inside to talk to the owner

The owner was so sweet and treated us like family. We had 5 kids with us and she gave each of them a "sea cookie". It was a beautiful store with great prices!! We can't wait to visit again!!

We are from out of town, staying right up the street from Beach Bum Co and decided to stop in. Absolutely amazing store, friendly environment, very decent prices (I'm obsessed with earrings and left with 13 pairs 😁). Must go back for a few more things before we leave.

Have loved the shop for many years + can't count them. Great gift selections and island style decorations. Love the fresh water pearl jewelry! Awesome!

I love this store!! Great items and great prices on shells! Very helpful and friendly owner... He is very knowledgeable and doesn't mind answering questions. One of my favorite places on St. Simons!

Eric has a wide variety of sea shells and many other interesting gifts to choose from and his prices are very reasonable. I recommend that every one go by and pick up an interesting souvenir.

My children loved it. Great prices. Employee was extremely nice and patient while interacting with my 7 & 4 yr. old.

Small shop but very friendly service and inexpensive prices.
My family visits every trip.
