Dulce Dough consistently delivers when it comes to freshness and quality. They have the best biscuit, egg and cheese sandwich ever! They occasionally sell out of donuts hours before they close, so get there early. Also, don’t expect all donut flavors to be available each day. You really can’t go wrong with any of their menu items.

The best donuts on SSI hands down! Favorites are the maple bacon donut, sugared brioche donut, and blueberry muffin! Fresh, light, and fluffy, these little bites of heaven are worth the wait.

i would consider myself a donut connoisseur. i am a donut lover. and when i tell you i think the maple bacon donut is the best donut i have ever eaten??? i am so serious. the entire vibe of the shop was the cutest ever. great service, friendly workers, and incredible food. i wish it wasn’t so far but definitely making an effort to come here whenever i am near!

First time at Dulce Dough Donut and was very impressed how the service went , the food delicious , I asked for a mug and they provided without any issue.
Also my husband saw that they had a record player and they were beyond and above to set up and make that happened for the music to be played. Great place ! Loved it the experience.

Absolutely fantastic donuts and biscuits. Light and airy wonderful texture. Just great product. These are the best you'll ever put in your mouth. They sell out in about two or three hours, so make sure you get there early

Likely the BEST doughnut shop I have ever visited!! We had family group of eight and sampled a variety of their donuts and cinnamon rolls.
The texture of the donuts was a light and airy brioche-style-almost reminiscent of the texture of a cronut. The icings and glazes were also excellent, with none of them being too sweet and nothing artificial. The raspberry filled had real raspberry jam! The vanilla iced and cream cheese cinnamon rolls were also delicious and not dry at all!
The staff was very friendly and professional! And the pastel and white decor was quaint and welcoming.
Highly recommended and would return in a heartbeat if ever visiting again!!

Pros:
-obviously, they have a great selection of donuts and baked food. I had their buttermilk biscuit with egg and cheese on it.
-if you do^ wanna have the biscuit, you can add things to it! Make it your own
-lots of seating and a variety of it. Couches, bar seating, tables, outdoor seating.
-I like that they have framed art of local elementary students 🥹 & puzzles in-store for kids to play with. My heart
-great coffee/espresso drinks imo
-clean bathroom
-cool view of everyone baking when you order

Things to note:
-this is a stand up and order establishment, which I prefer! I’d rather pay beforehand for my stuff anyway

What I recommend:
-their buttermilk biscuit however you like it AND their sugared brioche donut. God dang. It’s so good and light. Didn’t feel heavy. Twas perfect ✨

Wow!!!! I literally inhaled my maple brioche donut!! When I came in they literally sold the last few and when I asked if they would have more the chef in the back needed me and told the staff there were more coming out. The staff repeated it. The staff is friendly and very attentive! The donut was awesome!! It is a brioche style which means it's not as dense as a cake donut and the inside is more like a croissant! It reminds me of the cronuts sold in NYC. But this was better!! When it came out it was still warm and it was bathed in the maple glaze. I am going to have to control myself because I could see me eating 2 or 3 by myself since they are so light! I won't be able to limit myself next time. They had at least 8 varieties of donuts, fresh brooch rolls and biscuits! I'm going to be here to try all of them!! Also the coffee was very good!

The best donuts in the Golden Isles! Breakfast sandwiches are good, too. Counter service for ordering food with a cute Dutch-style atmosphere.

They serve the most amazing donuts I've ever experienced! And I'm not even a huge donut fan normally!
The cinnamon and the chocolate donuts are amazing! They also serve great coffee and quiche! You can't go wrong with anything you try!

We visit the area every winter and we have been looking for a bakery we like. We stopped this morning to give Dulce Dough Donuts a try. We bought 2 of their cream cheese topped cinnamon rolls. They were fantastic! I have a memory of loving cinnamon rolls, but over the last several years everyone I’ve tried has fell well short of my memory. That changed today. We will be back. Hopefully not too often as my waste line couldn’t take it! Do yourself a favor and stop by, but get there early as it looks like the sale out.

That’s really all I can say about this place. My family and friends knows that I’m a donut aficionado. I’ve traveled all over the world and my current favorite donut shop was in Pittsburgh. (Orams donuts in case you’re wondering).
But Dulce Dough just blew that out of the water.
We are here visiting for my husbands business trip and I truly cannot say enough about this place.
If you’re a foodie - their brioche dough is light on the inside, slightly crispy on the outside, a total buttery pillow from heaven. As an avid baker, I know the talent and work that it takes to make this particular dough. A feat not for the faint of heart.
Trust me.
Nothing, I repeat nothing, is not homemade here. From the fillings to the glazes - all real. Not overly sweet so you can eat more than one without feeling ill like other chain donut places. There was even tiny flecks of vanilla bean in the vanilla dough, and also in the whipped cream on top of the French silk pie doughnut.
I would have paid double their prices and not batted an eye. We have been here every day for the last three days, and plan to stop tomorrow before we fly out.

Vanilla Cream (do NOT think this is going to be anything like any other filled donut you’ve ever had)
Homer (strawberry glazed)

French silk pie (has a filling that is light and airy and tastes like the best dark chocolate mousse)

I made the mistake the first day of only ordering one per person.

Be prepared to crave these donuts for the rest of your life. I know I will.

Went in for a mid morning breakfast. We got 3 doughnuts an iced coffee, and an iced latte. Everything was great though the doughnuts may have been a little over fried. That might just be me so I didn’t knock anything off for it. The surprise of the visit was the vanilla cream filled which I ended up ordering a second of, bringing our overall doughnut order up to 4. The coffees were also impressive as my iced coffee was very good. There is plenty of seating which I always appreciate.

Feeling the LOVE 💕 this morning. Best donut I've had in a long time. I recommend the Berliners. The blueberry 🫐 biscuit 🍪 will also please you. Shout out to the crew.

PS: I saw a review that the staff was rude. Since I've been coming to Dulce Dough since Day One, I have had simply wonderful 👍 interactions with all of the staff.

We tried the bacon quiche. The eggs were like silk and the layers of bacon - layers not crumbles - delicious!
We tried the sugar brioche donuts. This is my new personal fav! We tried the chocolate donut. WOW, the chocolate was so good. It wasn't like a cheap syrup smeared on top but a rich and pure chocolate.

I decided to try the doughnuts and coffee since I was at a service next door. I ordered six doughnuts and an americano. My favorite doughnuts are chocolate and you can actually taste chocolate on the frosting of these doughnuts not any of the artificial stuff we are used to. The $2.50 doughnut was worth the price it was also fluffy. I haven’t had a good doughnut in a long time. The americano was not really good but the doughnut itself makes it worth 5 stars.
It was really crowded up until 10am so go with time.

First time here today! I haven’t even tried their sweets -but this biscuits and gravy is mind blowing!

Delicious!! Doughnuts are so airy, the brioche dough makes such a difference. We had the quiche as well, which was really good. Place is really cute and the staff very friendly and helpful. They serve Wake Up Coffee Co which is an added bonus to help another local business. We had the vanilla glazed, chocolate and strawberry - all amazing but vanilla was our favorite! Get there early for best selection.

DELICIOUS FOOD! Definitely try the iced dirty chai, brioche chicken salad, and their donuts. Super fluffy brioche donuts. The chicken salad was divine with jalapeños on it - but not too spicy. They also sell milk glass and they must buy it in bulk because their mugs are cheaper than online!

Freshly made donuts, pastries and biscuits. My kids loved the strawberry glazed donuts. You could actually taste the fresh strawberries used to make the glaze. Friendly staff and the owner, Ryanne engages with all her guests. You must visit each time you are on St Simons Island.
