The staff at this store is truly outstanding, and Cale, in particular, deserves special mention. He went above and beyond to assist me when I was in a bit of an emergency. Cale expertly guided me to locate the exact hardware I needed, ensuring I was well taken care of. What sets him apart is his genuine care for customers; it's evident he takes pride in providing exceptional service. His follow-up to ensure my situation was fully resolved further exemplifies his dedication. Moving forward, I wouldn't consider shopping anywhere else for my hardware needs. I've already shared my exceptional experience with numerous individuals, many of whom have echoed similar sentiments about this store and its staff. Major kudos to the management for cultivating such an exceptional team at this location!

I was lucky I came to this store! The 3 gentlemen that helped me out, saved me a lot of time & money! I was able to buy products to finish the job myself, rather than waiting on a crew to come fix my house.

I wasn't able to get their names today (Thursday, Nov 16), but they went above and beyond to help me out, and I truly appreciate them for it!

Since this location opened it’s my go to hardware store. The staff is amazing! They answer all my questions. Walk me to where the item is I’m looking for. As we all know this is not a common practice today.

The layout of the store is a plus. It could not be more beautiful. The product selections are stellar. I’m getting to know where products are. Again, this is due to the staffs help.

I’m always greeted when I enter. Some of the employees know Im a regular now. When I leave I’m always thanks for shopping here, please come back.

Visited this location this past week just on a whim while I was in town for some training. The staff was super friendly, knowledgeable and inviting. The store has just about anything you are looking for. I was very impressed by the Milwaukee and Stihl selection. Stop in if you are need of anything hardware related. Can't say enough about their hospitality and customer service.

It's amazing for the size of this store, they seem to have more than the three big box stores combined! Top notch, clean, well lit, friendly helpful staff!

Stopped in to get a Stihl chainsaw. I forget the salesman's name but he was super friendly. Very detailed, helped registered product, did a test run to make sure the saw worked... Couldn't have gotten better customer service. Store was extremely clean and organized! Thanks again buddy for all your help today!

Can I give more than 5 stars??? The staff at this Ace Hardware is THE BEST. I came in with a valve that provided water to our fridge that was leaking. A plumber came out and quoted me $800-$1500 to fix. He said that valve broke and he doesn't carry that, so he wanted to replace all the shut off valves for hot and cold water, the dishwasher and more. All I wanted was to stop the leak, so I decided I'd try to replace the valve part and see if that fixed the issue (vs. getting a whole new under sink system). The guys at Ace were able to look at my piece and put together what I'd need to replace it. They explained to me what to do, so I went home and swapped it out and it worked PERFECTLY. So it cost me less than $20 to fix, vs. $800-$1500. But then when I turned the water back on, the hot water valve to the dishwasher suddenly started leaking (it wasn't leaking before the plumber came, and he shouldn't have even touched the hot water, it was just a cold water leak). So I took a photo of the new (and larger) leak and went back to Ace to ask if I need to replace that too. The plumbing specialist (wish I could remember his name) said he thought he knew what would fix my issue - he explained how to fix it, which didn't involve buying anything from the store. I went home and did what he explained and IT'S FIXED!! These guys saved me $800+!! I'm so grateful for the guys at this Ace Hardware - they were so helpful and went above and beyond to help me, and they did it with a smile. I will tell everyone I know to head to that Ace - I highly doubt I would have received this great of service at Lowe's or HD. THANK YOU STAFF AT GREAT LAKES INDIANAPOLIS!!

Everyone on staff tonight 9/18 around closing time was AMAZING. Really appreciate everyone’s attitude. Very easy to find exactly what we needed and everyone was helpful in answering all our questions. Thank you thank you!

We have shopped there 3 times now and we have been pleased with the selection of items and especially the prices. And as far as the dog we think the dog is great and all of the staff seem to be smiling and getting along fine . In regards to the name
Great Lakes Ace , yes we assumed it was headquartered from Michigan a place where most of my family resides.

Love this place - top name brands, and pretty much everything you need for basic projects around the house. They can give as little or as much help as you need, and the rewards program frequently gives discounts in their app.

This place is always well-organized and the employees are so helpful.

The staff is very helpful and the store is clean and well stocked. Cale helped me pick out the proper 2 stroke mixture for my Stihl weedeater. He even started it and gave me lessons on how to properly use it. He deserves a raise!

We have shopped at this Ace 2xs and been incredibly pleased with our experiences. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We went in today and William was super helpful! We will continue to shop there.

So glad to have a local hardware store close to home now. So far, they've had everything needed. Really friendly too.
