Academy Sports + Outdoors

We came rushing in 10 minutes before they were supposed to close to grab a cage because we had just found kittens. We expected the staff to be a little put out since we were coming in so last minute, but we were instead greeted with a smile and asked if we needed any help, and were pointed in the right direction. Another associate in the back stopped what he was doing and also helped us look for what we needed.
We went back a few days later for some shoes and again all the associates were super friendly and we left with what we needed.

Academy Sports and Outdoors has everything you need for your recreational activities. I can find the things I need and some items I didn’t know existed for my sporting pastimes. Academy Sports doesn’t always have the best price but they do have sales frequently. The sales outcompete prices at similar stores. If you like this review, please like and share it. I shop here mainly for hunting and outdoor supplies. Even with the current “ammo shortage” that is going on this Academy Sports usually has what you need, or something similar in stock. From cheap range rounds to personal protection they usually have a decent selection of both. Knowledgeable staff and large selection of EVERYTHING. One of the better large sporting good stores I have been to. 5 start all the way.

Haven't been here in a bit, enjoyed the tremendous selection of winter jackets and t-shirts--it's that time again! Cool gifts this time of year, and it was hard to not stop in the main aisle to look at them. Wow, Yeti makes an ice bucket... Only at Academy. I ended up with another Yeti product, a retro flannel patterned tumbler set. Great gift for that flannel fan in our family. Fun shopping today, makes you just want to stop in and check it out!

Went in1/16/23 so kids could use xmas gift cards they received. Found a little propane gas grill my teen son wanted so he could use it camping - the only one left was the display that was damaged. Staff was helpful and management gave him a discount since the product had defects from being on the shelf. Everyone was accommodating and helpful at this location! While many hunting items are currently out of stock- we were told new inventory would be in by end of month. Can't wait to come back again!

These people are awesome!! The door greeter worked with 2 other guys to help get my new smoker loaded into our vehicle. They had to disassemble some pieces, but they were extremely helpful and friendly during the entire process. I would definitely suggest this store to others.

I loved this store. They had everything for sports and outdoors at really good prices. When I was here I got a few fishing lures and a t-shirt. The had fishing poles and lures, fishing boats; basketball, baseball, golf, archery, airsoft, and soccer equipment; and guns. This was really a great store. I highly recommend it for anyone near it.

I always like shopping at Academy. Today's visit was as usual very pleasant. The staff was very nice and courteous. As I shopped in different area I had the staff ask if I need help finding anything. The fishing department didn't have a lot in stock with lures but no where I go seems to. I think it may be due to covid-19. I didn't have to wait when checking out there were several cashier's, which was nice. I would recommend others to this store.

Excellent experience. We walked in looking for basketball shoes. I found the store clean and well organized. The staff was efficient when we checked out.

It's an older an that welcomes everyone that comes through the door. He is extremely nice and knowledgeable... The 2 cashiers that checked me out tonight we're wonderful ‼‼ customer service was 100%. It was one older lady that keep watching me and my family as we walked through the store but I ignored her because I already knew what her problem was. Sometimes you have to look pass people.
