I love this fully-stocked B&N! The staff is friendly and efficient when helping locate materials. Dustin at the front desk was very knowledgeable about how my NJEA card could earn me perks at B&N.

It is nicely organized and clean. There is much more than books. There is a nice selection of educational tops, music etc.

Perfect, as always...ordered some books last Thursday, and received a personal phone call telling me they were in within a couple days. Always a pleasant experience shopping there, and always find the staff very polite and helpful. ✌✌✌

I was just at this Barnes and Noble in Freehold NJ . I loved the wooden door and old time feel . I also loved how there are mini book reviews by some of the books which give the shopper a brief synopsis of certain books. The children’s section is beautifully laid out with many toys and books for younger and older children. Everyone was very helpful . I am an educator and even though my card had expired, I was able to instantly renew it by checking a button at the register. I look forward to returning this store. Highly recommend . I enjoy eating at Roberto's..& the waiter Alex is exceptional nice & friendly & is a great waiter..I will look for his area when I come in to eat so he can wait on me..

This Barnes & Noble has a very good selection, particularly of Japanese Manga. There are some series that you can’t find in some neighbouring stores and I’m glad those can be found here. Extra helpful are the staff who treat me as a valued member and place orders through their warehouse for free delivery with the member discount applied after they’ve spent their time looking for it around the store! While that service is available in locations across the country, this store hasn’t given me any hassle in doing so through them and that deserves some level of recognition of being “above and beyond.”

Keep it up, B&N Freehold, and thanks for being my local B&N Bookstore!

Love B&N but I think their Brick and Mortor days are numbered. This location is still very large compared to the others in the area which downsized.

The displays of Lego kits and other cool stuff were impressive. Very good selection of calendars and planners. Wide open layout so it felt socially distanced and comfortable. Looking forward to the new cafe opening. Found what i needed fast.

This is a large, well stocked, clean store with a friendly, knowledgeable staff. A great place to while away a few hours on a rainy Saturday afternoon.

A very pleasant bookstore. Staff are polite and there's lots to look at, including toys, gifts, music, movies, cards and stationary items. I would love for the adjacent Starbucks or a similar café to reopen here.

This place is a sanctuary to many, I love this store because it's always so quiet and have an amazing selection of books and entertainment. The only thing I wished is that they had more of is Cuddle pals plushies and stationary. Other then that this place is always a solid experience and very fun. A good place for a book date too. I cant wait for the cafe to open.

This has been my local bookstore since it opened (alas there are no local independent bookstores). I miss the Starbucks, as I'd happily get a coffee and then browse/read for a while while relaxing amidst so many books. Over the years they've increased floor space for games/stuffed animals to the detriment of book sections that just don't get the sales. That said, they still have a fantastic collection of popular fiction and magazines, as well as new and popular titles in the various non-fiction areas. I do miss the wider selection in crafts and other sections (history, religion, psychology). I love being able to order books they don't carry and pick them up there to avoid the shipping costs.

Bookstores are my favorite place in the world. This one is bigger than my local store, and I found new items I haven't seen before.

Man I started going to this place in the 90s when I was a kid...I just went here again for the first time in many years...everyone's real nice, and if you think about it there really should still be a place out here in the suburbs where you can drive up, buy a book, and take it home. And I think it's pretty cool that the dude at the register looks like Machine Gun Kelly. Honestly, go support them and buy one book, I promise you'll find something you like...sometimes it's nice to have a lovely book in your hands instead of a digital copy in yo e-reader. 👍
