German Gourmet

Such an amazing store in my neck of the woods. I’ve lived in my home near German Gourmet store for almost 14 years, I’ve driven by countless times and never entered. That ended today when I went inside, and it was AWESOME! Having served in the USAF stationed in Wiesbaden, Germany for two years I was able to sample the best of Germany food. I’m not an alcohol drinker so the beers were never my thing. This store took me back to my 19-20’s when I tried the German food, and lived like a king in Germany. This store has any and everything Germany, if you’re looking for a certain food, beer or desserts they got you covered. Don’t be like me and wait years to visit this store, run don’t walk to German Gourmet. You will not be disappointed! Enjoy! 🇩🇪 🍻

Took me back to my childhood days in Germany!! All my favorites from when I was a kid! I was so thrilled they even had Oblaten and almond bitters for my German Christmas cookies. The Brötchen was terrific and really reminded me of the smell you get when you pass by a bakery in Germany and get the whiff of bread. All the products I bought were still fresh and the prices were half the cost from Amazon or German Delis shipping rates. I also found local wine from towns next to where I grew up at in Rauenthal! will be back!! I’m one happy lady today, even driving 2 hours out of my way to find this diamond in the rough

The German Gourmet is an excellent business in my community. The food quality, selection and staff are topnotch. My husband and I come here usually to purchase sausages and cheese. We started a new holiday tradition last year where we make a special trip to the German Gourmet to fill our Christmas socks with European confections. This is our second year enjoying the tradition and we love it. The variety of chocolate deliciousness can't be beat and we also pick out a few jams, mustard, and coffee. They have a full deli and bakery. Their beer selection is awesome as well. If you like German and European food in general, you really should stop by the German Gourmet. Thank you for always providing us a great experience. :-)

I was glad to find the German Gourmet as I was looking for Kartoffel Klöbe and could not find it anywhere. To my surprise German Gourmet is carrying a wide variety of Klöbe from which I picked couple to try, as I am looking for the Bavarian style.
From the moment you enter the store you feel that you are in Germany. The layout is very well planed with an impressive selection of authentic German products. I felt like a kid in a candy store as it is impossible to leave the store empty handed. During my visit I also bought typical German cold cuts that were absolutely exceptional!

I can’t wait to go back :)

Quaint German Delicatessen with a wide variety of German products. I took my mom who was like a kid in a candy store. This place is cramped and it was very popular on a Saturday. Bring your patience for the deli counter as the line gets long. Apparently the tickets are for all the counters - the deli, the cheese and the dessert counters. The staff is quick and helpful. They also have a selection of wines and beer. We will be going back as my mother will need her German food on the regular. :-) I enjoyed it as it brought back memories of my childhood with my German family and traveling to Deutschland.

Yum! The made to order food was fresh and delicious. The grocery store had a variety of items from mustard, noodles, sauces, beer, wine, candy, etc.. The meat counter was full of delectable choices of sausages, lunchmeats, cheeses being serviced by a polite and efficient staff. Pull a number ticket once you've made up your mind what you'd like from the meat, deli meats, bakery. We each had a different dessert which all were very good. Currently, indoor eating is not an option. Parking was easy enough however gets full and is busy.

This place is always awesome for our German fix. Whether it's German food, deli items, chocolate, bread, beer, toiletries, clothing, beer steins or knick knacks, there's something for everyone. We come here often enough to have sandwich cards for stamping and buy other essentials as well, if you can call beer, cold cuts and chocolate necessities. We would go broke if we came here as much as we liked. 🍻🍫🥪🇩🇪💳💸

I love this place. The food and pastries are outstanding and the large beer selection is an added bonus. In the picture I added, those particular beers are from a brewery in Germany where everything has a smoked pork flavor, an interesting change. I enjoy it, and specifically recommend the Marzen. Enjoy.

Came here to get "the Deutscher" sub. Was not disappointed! Great authentic, hole in the wall German grocery and deli. German beers, wines, dry goods, candies. Excellent deli counter with all the German meats you can dream of! $8 with tax for a sandwich isn't bad at all! Please support these local and independent establishments or else they will be gone forever!

.. are you serious?? if you are German or like German food and such..🇩🇪🙌😀👍🏼this is the best German food place/ store that I've been in in the last 10 years and I lived in Germany for more than 25 years! the selection is like nothing I've seen before! pricey of course but that's to be expected! go and visit them! also the staff was very friendly.. more than enough parking

I absolutely love this gem. Fantastic German food and beer. LOTS of beer! The staff is knowledgeable and polite. Makes me happy to visit.

We picked up breakfast to go, as well as some snacks, deli meat, and a strudel. Everything was really good. The roesti (potato, onion, bacon&ham) was fantastic. The strudel was pricey considering the size but overall we were happy with the purchases and like supporting local business!

This place has a bunch of great selections to pick and choose from. The spice selection is plentiful and numerous and one of the spices they had was a great replacement for a brand my mom and I have been scouring the web for for years. Just make sure to check the expiration dates as some of them are pretty close to expiring.

Prices are also a little high, but that's to be expected when dealing with imported products, especially ones from Germany.

Overall I'm highly satisfied with their selection of traditional meats and spices from German cuisine and it's definitely worth the 40 mile round trip to restock my supply of ingredients!

Everything authentic German! Ask my wife ...she loves this place. Great for brats and deli meats. Big beer assortment of you drink. Good chocolates and knick knacks. Been going here for 20 years. Real deal.

Such a great store! All the German branded food and products you could want. They also have a meat counter/deli.

Great German sandwich shop with many items there for everyday. Foods beer, and wine from Germany to purchase as well. There is no seating just oder and go.

This is a great place. We drove down from Pa to pick up some food and beer and to just see the place. The people are very friendly, food is very good with a great selection and there is a nice beer selection. Will definitely be visiting again.
