This is a really nice place to get spices the atmosphere is so inviting and fragrant. Also check them out online where you can snag some good discounts.

I love Penzeys and I love this location on a street full of interesting businesses and places to eat. Parking can be challenging. It might work out best to park on one of the residential streets south of the shop and walk the short distance up to Grand Ave. Otherwise learn how to parallel park on a busy street before you venture in. Once inside, there's a table with some freebies, a bottle of hand sanitizer and nearby a stack of baskets to carry your selections. The sniffing jars are back. Make a point of sniffing the spices, but maybe avoid sniffing the pepper, lol. Anyway, be sure to subscribe to Penzeys email newsletter, or check their website for specials and recipes. Once the clerk asked if I subscribed and when I said "Of course!" she gave me a 10 percent discount. They're always doing something fun and even free every weekend. All the spices are top quality, but California Seasoned Pepper is the one thing I can't live without. I also love the Forward! blend, which is great for jazzing up prepared foods without adding salt. It's all great, really. Go, and go often.

They have almost any spice you would want and spices are wonderfully fresh. The staff are quite helpful and pleasant.

An amazing store! Huge and recently expanded. Whatever spice you need they'll have it! They also have all types of blends for different needs. And great prices!

Love this place! Such a wide variety of spices and spice blends. A little more expensive than a grocery store but easy worth the prices! I recommend the Smoky 4/S Seasoning and the Mitchell Street Seasoning!

In store shopping is closed right not, but the online ordering is seamless! You have the option to have your order shipped, or you can pick it up.

Love this place. The spices are amazing. Slowly swapping out my store brands for them. They make food sooooo much better and the staff is incredibly helpful. Once they had even felt that we had waited too long in line and gave us a free jar of cinnamon. Completely unexpected! I will always remain a loyal customer as long as they are in business.

I went to Penzeys Spices because they had a coupon sent to people on their email list for a free box of spices, "Go Vote" theme and a $19.99 normal price, with no purchase necessary. Needless to say, the place was packed. I was only queued up for about 40 minutes and the line was moving fast. Any other day there would be no or super short wait in line. The store is beautiful; it looks like a high end boutique. I've ordered their spices from their website before so I knew to expect top quality ingredients, flavor and value, and this store gave it to me 🙂 This store is 10/10 for any spice enthusiast; I know I'll be returning.

Such an amazing selection of spices! I can just wander around for an hour thinking of recipes. I very much recommend their smoked paprika, as I recently had to purchase a different brand and it's not the same. Worth a bit of a drive to get quality goods for your cooking!

Penzeys has a selection of spices like no other. I love their unique blends of spices. A few of my favorites and staples in my cupboard are old world, chili 9000, and northwoods. It’s so much fun to look around the store at all the different spices either for personal use or they make great gifts. They currently only have curbside pickup available due to covid but it works out nicely. Just place order the day before then schedule pickup and text them when you arrive and they leave it outside the store in a box. Very convenient.

Penzey's is always a great spot to stop. The spices taste great, the staff are knowledgeable and help recommend something for you of you want. They also have great variety of gift boxes for holidays.

Chicago steak seasoning is amazing. Such a variety of good quality spices with helpful suggestions of what to use them for! Staff is super friendly, curbside pick up with order ahead is a breeze. ❤

I always thought that spices from the grocery store were fine, but there's just no comparison to penzy's. Their spices are better and fresher and best of all they're not much more expensive than the grocery store. To top it all off, their staff has an incredible amount of knowledge on cooking and spices and are always happy to help with recommendations.

Purchased two season all blends on sale, got another half jar of chile powder for free. The black pepper is so fragrant, the white pepper strong as horseradish, and the lemon pepper is awesome. Huge bay leaves. Huge. Fragrant, high quality that you don't find in grocery stores. And if you shop the sales it's less expensive. I couldn't wait to come home and cook. 🍜😋🍲
