Petco

I brought our German Shepherd Husky mutt mix in for her grooming. I normally go to the Richfield Petco as it is in our shopping routine but the Highland one is closer. I would say Highland Petco did a slightly more thorough job. My dog blows her coat about three times a year and sometimes she comes home with tuffs still falling out after her grooming. Mary did an excellent job with her! Our pup is sweet but big. I was happy to hear she behaved for Mary and she looked fantastic. I am never disappointed with the care that all the Petco staff treat me and my dog even using an unfamiliar one for the fist time.
Update 3 months later
Picked up my big girl and my goodness does she smell clean! Again they did a great job getting all the clumps of under coat out. Had great compliments on her behavior and singing voice.

Nice Store not busy and friendly service. Large assortment of cat and dog food. The cashier was very helpful and informative about the vet program. Great customer service.

All the workers were very friendly and very helpful. The addition of the vet staff will be very helpful as well. One of the workers patiently answered all our questions regarding things associated with the new vetco. Store was clean and surprisingly quiet with all the four-legged visitors that were present. All of whom conducted themselves quite well!

Michele is amazing! My anxious 2-year-old Whoodle went back easily and didn't want to leave her after his appointment. Michele was so sweet to walk with him when we left the store. And his haircut was perfect!!

Everytime I come in here I am always able to find everything I'm looking for! All the necessities for my rabbit! Although, sometimes I'm bummed I can't find other things like Holiday Toys and or themed treats for him, I'm very impressed with the selection of things for him! Plus, the staff is really helpful, and always super polite! I also love the variety of things for him and the staff is very knowledgeable about everything regarding my rabbits health and what he would enjoy! The store is always clutter free and very clean for a smaller location! And I love how local this store is! 100000% in love with this store!

I needed help with purchasing a large dog crate. The customer service representative that I approached for help, Michele, cheerfully dropped what she was doing to attend to me, listened carefully to my concerns, addressed all of my questions, did not stop until she found exactly what I was looking for, and efficiently helped me complete my purchase.

They offer a lot of services at their establishment and have very nice and helpful staff.

Stopped in late Sunday afternoon 1/28/24 to return two muzzles. Thanks to the store manager who did the return personally and went above and beyond for good customer service.

Now that construction is complete this is a stellar location with amazing staff. Tbh we’d rather keep it a secret bc selfishly we don’t want people to find out about so it doesn’t get too busy!!

today was a awesome day at Petco in st paul. my son lost his fish last night . It broke his heart so i went in to replace him. I thought i was doing a good deed but my son wanted to go back and pick his own fish. The wonderful Michelle helped us out both times. She was the greatest. My son is so happy now he cried with joy.. Thank u so very much

Staff is knowledgeable and compassionate 🙂 . Prices decent. Store is tidy clean the displays are very nice. I recommend this Petco, I especially go there for Petco's own cat litter brand "So Phresh" re-fills! Buy a 30lb bucket $14.99, bring your empty bucket back & re-fill it for $1.00 less!

I went here to get some cat things and ended up entranced by the saltwater tanks. I have had freshwater fish in the past and have enjoyed it, but I have never felt so truly delightful as I did on this particular visit to the store. I was helped by two employees. One was the manager. They both had the most superb customer service skills. They were both highly knowledgeable in the aquarium area. I felt that the way the manager explained to me about setting up and caring for my future tank was an immense amount of information intake; but the way in which she told me was so understandable and definitely took away any anxiety I had about the concerns that come with a salt water tank.. The fish looked happy and healthy. I never knew how interactive saltwater fish are. It's amazing to see. They had a wide variety of colorful fish. There were anemones and starfish. My favorite was this little guy who crawled. He reminded me of herb's dog from family guy. Overall I'd give this store a 10/10 I enjoyed my shopping experience thoroughly.

I am 100% satisfied with the grooming service given to my dog!
I waited over a month for the appointment; I thought that was excessive.
I also would appreciate being able to view the grooming area through windows.
Hopefully when the remodel is completed it that will be part of it.
I hope the store pays their groomers well with great perks! That is imperative.

Great location! The staff has always been friendly and helpful. If you're a cat owner, I'd highly recommend the refillable litter -- it's truly scent free, clumps well, traps odor, and is very affordable!

Joseph is very caring and knowledgeable. You can tell he really cares and values animals.

I went to Petco to pick up more food for my dog but had forgotten which brand because we recently switched to an elder care formula. Everyone was very helpful in figuring out which food I had last purchased. Since we had used two different accounts it took a few minutes and the person at the register was super nice about helping us.

Excellent staff. Acknowledge the moment I walked in, and helped not long after. Things were neat and orderly and their were no lines! The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly.
