After a long hectic day, this is a great place to kick back and relax in a friendly environment surrounded by all categories of great reads. There are places to sit and go through the selections so you can be sure the titles chosen are the ones you want. It's comforting to actually sit and turn pages (the old-fashioned way) as you make your way through an adventure, either fact or fiction. Perhaps a trip through the culinary selections of the world is your fancy or a different craft for you to choose. Anyway, it's a great place to visit and plan your escape into the world of words.

Love the layout and how high the ceilings are. There’s a large children’s and cooking section here. The business and home & garden section are upstairs. Has a good experience with the cashiers. Staff in the middle could’ve been nicer.

I have been a long term fan of the "Barnes & Noble Franchise since 2005. This location I discovered during Christmas 🎄☃ 2021. I decided to make a return visit here. .in January 2022. This store has two levels.. It's a great location for parents, children,book hunting and just to relax ..sip a warm cup 🍵 tea, ☕ coffee..what have you. There also is a Starbucks ✨ mini cafe.. It's always busy...!! This location has a children's section,magazines..an assortment of 📚 books, Game's (upstairs).. 📀 DVD, CD 📀,..you remember those 👍 right..?! The employees are very 🙂👍👍 nice .. There is a escalator or elevator to use..to access the second floor.. The store 🏬 is very clean... Many displays... Today I popped in for a mental break... (I love books 📚..!!) While I was sipping my beverage I overheard a conversation between an employee and a customer.. Discussing the fact that people don't buy magazines or books much anymore these days ??!.. Talk about a shock to my ears . ! Come on friends..please support your local '' BOOKSTORES''.‼ Writers depend on the public to make a living and people who don't read books... Well,..smh 🤔. Overall I like this store.. parking 🅿 is convenient .. Stop by for a time out.. 👋

Gotta say, the environment here was very cool... a modern style of a cool, retro concept. "Brick-and-mortar" has become outdated, but Barnes & Noble did a great job constructing this store and its 'vibe'. Also, the staff were super helpful, even though the book we were looking for wasn't yet available.
Parking can be a burden, given that this location is in a mall that's has high traffic... especially during the holidays.

Such a big store.... Clean, organized, friendly customer service.

Store was gigantic! My only issue that they must have moved the section signs around recently, because the titles didn't match the section. Because of that some areas were hard to find, and some not even labeled, and even some covered in dust. Also, very long line to checkout (but I don't mind that, it's great to see bookstores doing well.

One of our few remaining bookstores and one of my favorite places in Thousand Oaks. Huge selection (you can see by the size of the store), great availability of bestsellers. I also love the inside coffee shop. The wooden chairs are comfortable for perusing as you decide what to buy. One of the best stores in the Promenade Mall.

We love Barnes and Nobles. Always a great spot to meet with friends, family or even alone time. Coffee shop is NOT Starbucks but does serve Starbucks coffee. Make note of this as the coffee attendants are annoyed with the multiple questions about Starbucks points and app usage. Aside from their slight attitude, the store is always great and so many great seating spots!

Love this store and the workers. They were so kind and patient with me finding a book. The store was closing in an hour when I got there and they treated me with patience as if they had all the time in the world.

Drove a bit out of the way to get here but I was not disappointed.

Very nice location and store. The pool parking is easy. There are chairs scattered to sit abc read, as well as Starbucks.

I swear every time I go in it always ends up being for hours and hours. By far my favorite barnes and noble. Iced caramel mochiato from starbucks with a tall water and a nice book is always the way to go.

The store is large, quiet, and comfortable. I can pick up a book and read it while having a sandwich and a cup of coffee.

The store has changed a bit since the Pandemic. It's still the same size and it still has the same overall layout. But the kinds of things they sell are different. The music section is gone! But they have added more rewards for B&N members. I appreciate this because I have been a member for years & years (probably 20 years, at least).

It's always a pleasure to come here. I will continue to visit.

I could spend hours in Barnes & Noble just browsing the amazing selection! This location has a Starbucks too so you can enjoy some coffee while you shop/ read!

I stopped by to use the bathroom because on that day is when there was a huge storm so thank goodness for Barnes & noble! They saved me and the bathrooms are clean! I also like it because there's a Starbucks inside if you want to get a drink!

I’ve never been one for books but this book store made me want to read! They had comfy chairs, a Starbucks café, great atmosphere, wide selection of books. It’s my new study/reading location!!

My daighter and I love this space so much. Many books and toys, it's our civilized playground. And Starbucks is a plus.

We were looking for a book for our daughter and the lady was very helpful then we had some urge for mexican food and ended up at El taco chico in oak park just 3 mins from there.

Love this Barnes and Nobles. Great well stocked store. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

The staff is so helpful. It likes a community hangout place. Love the coffee shop. We often come on Saturday to eat in the area, charge the Tesla, and listen to music
