I bought a blanket from Villa de Alpacas after using one at a friend’s house. After they moved away, I couldn’t wait to get one of my own. I ordered it immediately after Christmas and it came before New Year’s. I was impressed how quickly they shipped. When it arrived, it was even more beautiful than the pictures and is now the biggest blanket I own. It’s predominantly vibrant purple and I feel like a king using it. They also included a Christmas card which was a really lovely touch. I can’t say enough good about this place and I look forward to being able to stop by in person.

We ordered a Lofty Alpaca blanket and it is the softest and warmest blanket you can imagine. The quality is superior, well worth the investment. And our purchase arrived with a beautiful hand-written card and a lovely gift. We are delighted with our experience. Highly recommended.

This was truly a wonderful place to visit. We came on a sunny Saturday to the open house. This is a gracious house with a wonderful hostess! The boys loved the grapes, the stone roof (slate), and watching the alpacas. We cannot wait to come back to see if the alpacas are in the mood to be petted (they weren't). Animals and police cars make the perfect mix for little boys! Thank you so much

Angel's hospitality was so awesome! The amount of care and love she has put into the restoration of her family farm is impeccable and inspiring. Obviously a labor of love and compassion for her harritage and her family.

I truly enjoyed my visit and definitely would love to come back.

I have not visited the farm but I ordered a blanket and throw for Xmas presents. They are absolutely stunning, so soft and so well made! The blanket is a great large size and the throw will be perfect to snuggle up on the couch. They packaged and shipped the package within a day and included a brochure with the care instructions. I will definitely be favoriting the site and purchasing more for presents. I cannot stress enough how beautiful and soft they are!

We had an amazing experience here today. You are treated like family as soon as you step on the porch. Angel and company are welcoming, friendly, imformative. Her products are handmade with love and beautiful. When she says open house she means it. We were able to tour the house which is amazing! It has been in her family for generations and holds so much character. If you are ever close by call her to set up a time to tour this incredible place.

The pieces for sale are lovely, and the shop/house is amazing! Angel (the proprietor) is wonderful, kind woman. Stop here for gifts! At one of her open houses, she had hot and cool food, chocolates, cookies, and hot cider! The customer experience there is fantastic!

Angel was a true gem and made us feel so welcome! My family and I had the most wonderful visit here. We were able to learn, meet alpacas and buy the most beautiful wool blankets. 10/10, would recommend.

We went for the Alpacas and stayed for the amazingly gracious and lovely welcome. Roxanne helped us up to the stunning Victorian home and gave us warm cider as we "gawked" at the stunning decor! Angel is likely the most beautiful soul I've met. So welcoming and talented ... as her amazing products announce! Angel - we will be back! Thanks for a great afternoon

Both the quality and range of alpaca clothing available for sale at
Villa de Alpacas Farm are superb. And the setting in which they are presented - at the oldest family-owned farm in Maryland - couldn't be lovelier. The farm is well-worth a visit - not only are the alpacas themselves utterly charming, but the farm is full of family heirlooms displayed in a handsome and comfortable farmhouse. Most fun to visit!. The proprietor 's name - most appropriately - is Angel. You will have a splendid visit and your wardrobe will be tastefully added to. Lots of the items for sale would make grand presents- if you don't snatch them up for yourself. Enjoy'!!.

Amazing renovated old home chock full of gorgeous, well-made hand woven alpaca wool jackets, sweaters, vests, socks, shawls, hats, gloves, blankets, throws, and more for all ages. Photos wouldn't do her handy work justice. Pricey, but you get what you pay for. You'll want to visit the Villa, especially if you're looking for nice gifts. The owner is delightful and takes a sincere interest in her customers. Hot cider, cocoa, and desserts are offered.

Extensive array of beautiful top-quality handmade incredibly soft alpaca items in soft browns, rich jewel tones, and my favorite: peacock colors. The alpacas are on-site and look happy and healthy. Angel and Tom open up their large amazing house which is an incredible showcase for the gorgeous shawls, blankets, throws, sweaters, hats and gloves. Warm cider and home-baked goods are on the back porch, and they are delicious. Angel and Tom are helpful, kind, and caring, and my first trip there will not be my last.

Angel was beyond amazing with our visit to her family's farm. She welcomed us with open arms and gave a grand tour. Most of her products from the alpacas and llamas on made from the loom on site. It was such a pleasure seeing the grounds, we plan to go back for fall/winter essentials.

This place is absolutely amazing. The owner is so warm and welcoming. Her goods are top notch, and priced quite fairly. When we went to visit, the kids had a great time checking out the alpacas. We got to browse all the wonderful things inside and visit with the resident K-9s. We were offered food and drink and treated like old friends. I must say... We will be back again and again.
