I love going to this place with my family; especially my wife. When I was a kid, I loved going into the cracker barrel store because of all the unique things I would find in there. That's the same feeling I get when I go into POST. All the uniquely created things created by locally gifted people are amazing! And you can even take a class to learn how to create something unique too! And sorry, no photos - you have to go check it out yourself. ;)

I’ve been to POST for two workshops now and I cannot recommend this place more. They have great workshops and great local artist shopping as well.

Each month they come out with new workshops with local artist. From the instructions to actually working on the project is hands down easy and enjoyable.

The local shop has amazing stationary and other local items to buy that are top quality as well.

This past weekend I attended the Mixed Media Marbling Workshop at Post in Detroit, Michigan. I have been to many of their various workshops over the years and this was one of my favorites. Given the open space to experiment with different mediums, every design was different – even using the same colors. The building of the color bath. The surprise of the result. Seeing how the paint reacted to wood, matte board, leather, and more – was so mysterious and fun.

The entire approach was calming, exciting, and so many more adjectives. It was also great to attend/spend time with a great friend and meet more people. I have attended past workshops with others and sometimes by myself – always feel welcome to explore. No expertise needed.

For those of you in the Metro Detroit area, I highly recommend that you sign up for a future workshop – they have plenty of different types to choose from - to bring more creative intention and action into your lives.

Amazing. I went in with a question about a frame I have and Wayne went above and beyond to take care of me. Will be a top spot for future frames and other gifts for friends/fam. Great spot for cards as well!!

Soooo this place has been here 6 years. I had no idea. Went in today, and Lauren was a doll. Nice artsy craftsy and take a class there stuff up in this building. Local artist featured jewelry, art, knickknacks.

I am obsessed with this place. The retail shop is fantastic, the classes are amazing and everyone from the owners to the artists to any other staff are just great. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Post - Mutual Adoration is a great store for all your artisan and bespoke handmade crafts / craft kits, gifts, frames, home goods, picture framing and art! I accidentally picked this book up and couldn’t put it back. Focusing on mental health and self improvement is good for the soul. Highly recommended if you’re into art, hands on workshops, and everything unique that in between.

This is a great place for crafting and making ideas come to life. I took a class on hand lettering with a friend and will go back for another. It was a fun thing to do on a Saturday. They also have a variety of items for sale made by local artists.

A store that focuses on - and encourages the creation of - hand made objects that are useful and beautiful? Wow. This is a browse unlike may other and a beautiful vision of community and commitment. Highly - highly - recomended.

POST is a hidden gem located on Kercheval Avenue, and it's definitely worth checking out if you're looking for a unique shopping experience. The store features a wide variety of eclectic items, including homemade goods and super neat greeting cards. You'll find all sorts of interesting and unusual things here, and it's a great place to find gifts for that hard-to-shop-for person on your list.

One of the things that sets POST apart from other stores is the fact that they host regularly-scheduled workshops where you can make your own personal items. Whether you're interested in learning how to knit, make soap, or create your own jewelry, there's a workshop for you. It's a fun and interactive way to learn a new skill and create something that's uniquely your own.

The staff at POST are friendly and knowledgeable, and they're always happy to help you find what you're looking for. They're also great at suggesting unique gift ideas, so don't be afraid to ask for their advice. And if you're not able to visit the store in person, you can always shop online and have your items shipped to you.

Overall, I highly recommend checking out POST if you're in the Detroit area. It's a hidden gem that's well worth discovering!

I’ve loved every workshop I’ve attended here with different instructors. Great guidance and all my pieces have come out great. All the items in the shop are so fun and inspire creativity. Every time I leave I look forward to being back again.

I took the weaving workshop and was so pleased. The teacher was great, the owners were great. I have been going to this store since they opened and can't say enough good things. First workshop and it was fantastic!!!

Artisan market and venue for art classes. Very high quality merchandise- since everything is handmade, prices are not cheap but reasonable. Great store for gifts for everyone, every age.

First visit to Post, the staff was very friendly and welcoming! I am looking forward to returning.

We did a company outing and it was so much fun! The screen printed cards came out so good! The owners are so friendly and helpful making our team feel like their family. Also loved the shop filled with locally made items. Was a great experience and will definitely be back.

This place is super well thought out and executed. Great idea having shop space for doing art and craft classes. Seems like they have all you could want and the appropriate tools. If you don't want to take a class, go for the unique post cards, artsy items or home decorations!

the staff are so friendly and helpful and they have many special handmade items that are great for gifts! the only problem is you may end up buying more for yourself than you think...
