They have those hard to find items and the owner is very knowledgeable about all aspects of his wares and what people are looking for, frankly what his customer needs for what project. This store has been here on the coast many years and is a positive reflection of how stores were and should still be. I love this place, the gentleman in the shop always has a smile & kind word. When he didn't have the filters I needed, he called me as soon as he got them in stock. He is reasonable with his prices & I look forward to going by whenever our AC filters run low.

Truely a small town hardware store in the center of Bayou View. Best customer service you can get from a perfect gentlemen. I feel like I'm home here. If what you are looking for is not here, the owner will tell you the next closest place that has it. Great sense of humor. You will walk away with a smile, even chuckling. He also knows all the local contractors and can help you find professional services from reliable vendors. Much quicker and easier to stop by Bay View Hardware than one of the corporate mega marts!

Fantastic experience! Was looking for an odd ball set of lock pliers that bend metal and the gentleman had them in stock while no other place (including Home Depot) did not.

Love this place. This is definitely a community asset. It has a old time general store atmosphere. Friendly and helpful and has just about everything you need. Not what I expected.
