Our Cub Scouts had an absolutely amazing experience at Hawkins Creek Campground. The camp is clean, well maintained, and absolutely gorgeous. The campground has showers, indoor restrooms and a laundry facility. Beautiful trails and creeks, wide open areas for outdoor activities and just an abundant feeling of peace and comfort. You feel like your at home. I can't recommend Hawkins Creek Campground enough, you need to go here!

We had a wonderful time here. Very nice set up. They have a deck with picnic table on it, fire pit/grill. They have full hook ups, wifi and cable. They also have showers, bathroom, laundry room. Attendants were very friendly and helpful. Rates are very reasonable. Just a wonderful place to stay. Will be staying here again next time we come to NC.

Quiet, clean and family friendly. The owner is a really nice man and he runs a tight ship! So glad I got a beautiful lot! Fishing ponds and boat launch access to headwaters of Queens Creek, of the White Oak River.

We spent two months here riding out the winter and I have only wonderful things to say. The park is mostly long-term and permanent residents, with short term campers in a few specific loops. If you are looking for an RV "resort" experience, this probably isn't the place for you. That being said, what we loved most was the sense of community. Even in the short time we spent there, we felt welcomed and included. They also do an excellent job maintaining and landscaping the park. Sites are not huge, but included stone fire pits and a picnic table. The prices cannot be beat ($425 per month including utilities) and we have never felt so safe in an RV park. Only negative: the property backs up to the Marine Corps base. Noise from artillery training, helicopters, etc. was a fairly common occurrence at all hours. It didn't bother us, but if someone in your family is sensitive to this, it may be good to know ahead of time.

The atmosphere is great.... it's like staying with family who truly likes having you around. The owner is very personable and goes the extra step to assure that everything is just the way it should be. He has been improving his family oriented campground by constant upgrades in each site-- one of the best being spacious and well built decks on long term site rentals. He then provides strong steps that fit whatever RV or motorhome is making Hawkins Creek Campground home. This very beautiful area, only by a couple of miles away from the Beaches of North Carolina, is extremely affordable and most importantly very safe offering a true peace of mind. The deer that can be seen wandering through usually only look up and then continue their nocturnal grazing in our pleasantly quiet community. That's the good life provided by Steve Reid at the wonderful place he has provided at Hawkins Creek Campground. Thanks for that Steve......we appreciate you and how you have created this Campground.

Hawkins Creek Campgrounds is by far the best experience we have had to date. Absolutely the best. This park has all the bells and whistles and some to include free cable TV and spraying to avoid ants.
Everyone in the park was friendly and courteous The staff is prompt to answer any assistance calls around the clock.
I recommend this site to anyone that wants to enjoy a awesome get away. Do yourself a favor pay them a visit.
Thank you Mr.Reid and staff for a wonderful experience. We will return.

Hawkins creek is a quite comfortable place with full hookups including basic cable and wifi for an affordable price. There are a lot of full time residents mixed in but everyone we met has been friendly. The owner and family are are friendly and acomadattive as well. Hawkins creek is close to the beaches and Camp Leguene. It is not a resort but I would definitely stay here again.
Thank you to Steve and the family for gitting us in on short notice.

The charm and hospitality of Hawkins Creek Campground are superior. We feel like we belong there and enjoy the peaceful "at home" feeling that exists.
The owner (Steve Reid) and his family (especially Jason & Brandey), as well as all employees, are so nice. They all have attitudes that display the sincere desire to do whatever it takes to make sure everything is as perfect as possible.
For a family owned business, Hawkins Creek Campground is the perfect example of what all owners should hope and work to achieve. Steves hard work and tough dedication toward perfection shows when you drive through. Everyone involved in making and keeping the place so great should be proud of themselves. Please keep up the wonderful job and never, never, never consider changing. Thanks for being here.

Nice and quiet. Relaxed and inviting, great place to stay and has you covered for all your needs. Awesome if you have children or pets. Helpful neighbors too, one guy nailed a 5th wheel out of there to my property for me because I didn't have the hitch. Thanks

Fairly priced and very clean campsites, area seems secure too. Fair warning the posted speed limit is 10MPH, do not exceed 10MPH.

We loved this place. It's clean and quiet. The spaces are large and laid out is such a way that you're not bedroom to bedroom against your neighbor. There is a small private pond for catch and release fishing. There are mobile homes interspersed with rv in this park. There are lots of trees and grass with roads meandering through the park which creates the feeling of a small community.

I have stayed here several time over the last couple years. The campground is very clean and the staff is very friendly. It is family owned and family oriented. It is close enough to the ocean to enjoy it and just far enough where it is not on the beaten path with crowds.

This is our 4th year that we have been here. We called ahead by 6 weeks and when we arrived received a very nice spot, had help getting parked. Internet is good and they have free tv hook ups, 3 catch and release ponds, kayak creek, hiking trails. This the best stop on our trip.
