I walked in with a list. The gentleman took my list and was friendly, Courteous and quick filling my order. Giving me suggestions, helping me get everything needed. I did not know anything about what I needed since I was picking the order up for a friend. But this guy jumped right in, explained why he was handing me what he was handing me and his knowledge is outstanding.
Everything was well packaged and it was a great experience. I recommend them for your needs..

We rely heavily on ABS for our 8-10 all-grain batches a year. They pay their folks a living wage, and STILL their grain prices as as good or better than anybody else. We get everything shipped to us and it never takes more than a couple of days to arrive, so we know we can count on Asheville Brewers Supply.

The owner is an awesome guy! He was a wealth of knowledge and went above and beyond to help with my home brew needs. He patiently answered all of my novice questions and provided useful suggestions. Every bit worth the 1.5 hr drive!

Ted, the owner, is both personable and knowledgeable about brewing and fermenting a variety of beverages, including beer, wine, cider, Kombucha, and more. I started making wine, cider, and mead about 3 years ago, and knew absolutely nothing about the process. Ted was invaluable at educating me and providing recommendations about getting started. He has a great staff that is always willing to help or answer questions. Even though it is a relatively small store, he has a good selection of wine kits, cider kits, and beer-making ingredients on hand. Need bottles, caps, corks, flavoring agents, oak, yeast, or chemicals? He's got that, too. He also has most of the necessary related equipment for the average homebrewer/ fermenter, some of which is also available used, for an even better deal. If he doesn't have something in stock, he can special-order even more items, with delivery usually in just a few days, all at competitive prices. Whether you are a seasoned brewer/fermenter or are just getting started, Asheville Brewers' Supply is definitely a store worthy of your patronage. Go check them out!

Awesome, helpful staff and they keep a great stock of malts, hops and other grains! They'll help you get what you need and they sell a great range of equipment to get yourself a pretty decent home setup on pretty much any budget.

Great experience. I'm from Kingsport, Tn. and there was the nicest young man working the day I went. Bless his heart. Lol. I had tired to start some wine in Kingsport and had no idea what I was doing. He was so patient,kind an informative. And I needed everything. Besides hooking me up with all the equipment, additives, meters, everything I asked him about they had. And not only did he hook me up, he was nice enough to explain to me the best as he could on how to use it. I went in defeated and came out with a new since if confidence. And Lord only knows I was dumb as a rock going in! Lol.all I can say is... Go. You will not be disappointed. And to the young man that helped me .... Thank you soooo much! Fyi...I will be back! lol
