Spice Plus Indian Restaurant & Grocery

Can’t comment on the food because u didn’t eat there but the grocery store is really well stocked and the owner Is great

We were making a special Indian dinner for the holidays and went to Spice Plus to shop for all the ingredients. Many of the spices in the recipes were new to us since this was our first time cooking Indian food. Everyone who works there was super helpful in finding what we needed, answering our questions, and making suggestions. Plus they have a really good selection. I highly recommend Spice Plus!

I stopped by after visiting my casino pit boss in North Hollywood. It is air-conditioned unlike eight out of 10 Indian, Persian and Pakistani stores I have visited. The shopkeeper was perfectly nice. They stocked the items that I was looking for in perfect, fresh condition. Their samosas looked good. The variety of teas, spices, lentils incense, snacks and beverages was terrific. I recommend!

Hole in the wall well worth the visit. The menu on the wall are long gone, instead they have ready made food that's great pairing. Because they are not hindu, they serve beef and lamb. They are Halal (Muslim) if that matters to you. Kinda odd to see a Muslim restaurant and store right next to one of the largest orthodox Jewish grocery stores in LA.

Lots of uniquely Asian and south Asian groceries and some middle eastern items. Lots of parking and open late.

Read the bad reviews first before leaving my review. I have returned rice to Costco because there were rice bugs in the bag. I have purchased spoiled food at Ralph's and returned it. That happens with perishables. They perish. The quality of this store is superb.

Ever wanted to buy a huge frozen fish, they have them. Want authentic indian food and spices. This is the spot. The last two nights I have been purchasing their ready made food. Rice and a meat option plus two vegetable options. The food is unbelievably flavorful. I have never enjoyed indian cuisine as I have the last two nights.

I would be very surprised about any kind of food poisoning here as the food is really very fresh and they love what they do. I have had some bad experiences in the past with restaurants I continue to frequent. Because food poisoning is very difficult to determine as it can take upto 24 hours to show symptoms. So far all is well and this is my new favorite local restaurant. I hope everyone gives them a try. You will not be disappointed. Also indian cuisine is rich in spices and ingredients that non Indians would definitely have difficulty digesting. Trying food this authentic can easily upset a tummy. I am of slavic origin and had a terrible time the first few times I had sushi. I never could understand why everyone loved it so much. No I know to avoid california rolls and sushi rich in mayo.

After reading a review from a Pakistani claiming that the owner went on a Bengladash Pakistan rant about some conflict. Makes no difference to the quality of the food or the store. There are some people in this neighborhood that would go out of their way to attempt and destroy another's reputation. I really hope you try the store as you will be very happily surprised.

Great place for Halal meat, Bangladesh and other subcontinent food and groceries. Imported sweet water frozen fish, vegetables, snacks.
Very clean and organised selves, helpful employees.
Halal beef is slaughtered by owner himself, so quality and freshness always assured.

Bengali fish lovers.!!!!! This place is for yours....decent amount of variety and good quality....

Omg the chicken pockets were to die for can't wait to try all other also freshly prepared foods!! I also found great unique smelling incents and tamarand paste, an incent cube holder and masala chips yums!! ☺☺🤭🤭🤗🤗💯💯💞💞🌺

Best place for Bangladeshi grocery, frozen fish from Bangladesh, fresh meats, cooked food in the San Fernando Valley! Support them to stay open here, so that we don't have to go to Vermont Ave or 3rd street in LA.

The food at the resturant is excellent. Very good quality food. Very nice and clean store. This place has excellent service. I prefer this indian shop than any other. Over there is like heaven

Its a good place where one can find all the Indian grocery. Glad to have one in the neighborhood. They also have small Indian restaurant inside the shop. The grocery item prices are resonable.

Definitely I love this shop not because that its near of my home rather it has lots of collections.There cooking food is far far better than Aladin..

I love this place. They try to listen to customers request and change up menu day to day in the kitchen. It's much cleaner and more organize

Great food and value. Not the prettiest of dining facilities; it's like a small area in the back of a small grocery store, sectioned off for an eatery back there.

My regular go to place for fresh food and ethnic groceries. Good choices good food and friendly staff

Find so many great spices here! Can’t wait to go back and try their garlic naan :)
