Oberweis Ice Cream and Dairy Store

I like their malts. Ice cream that is really great quality. They give you those pirrouline (tubular wrapped spiral) cookies filled with some kind oh chocolate filling. Other stuff must be good too, wife and kids all enjoy whatever they get. The waffle cones are great, as are the waffle bowls.

I live in the middle between here and the Glen Ellyn locations. Ever since Jason, the manager, got to the Elmhurst Oberweis by York and Butterfield Roads…service has been awesome. The ice cream is always great! All the workers are respectful. When busy, he pitches in. He’s done an outstanding job!

If you're a PB lover, get the peanut butter sundae!! Homemade waffle cones and bowls are so good!

This is by far my favorite ice cream spot. I've come to this Oberweis location for almost 2 decades now. Anytime people visit the area, I always bring them here or get ice cream from here. This is a must try place!! Unfortunately I moved out of state so I don't get to have this ice cream unless I visit Illinois. I recently visited for 3 days and I had this ice cream more than once! No where else can compare to the rich creaminess of Oberwies ice creams.

Best ice cream and milkshakes ever! Love that they have board games and you can just hang out. Its very rich in flavor. Beware after eating this ice cream, you won't enjoy other ice creams!

Great service and tasty ice cream.
Their tastes are incredible as well as their ice cream cakes.

But their milk is too expensive for what it provides. Just add sugar to your regular milk for equal experience

Always helpful! Came in today and the 2 ladies in the front were very kind enough to point out the buy 3 get 1 free pints since I had brought up 3 pints. I would have never known and would have missed out on a free pint. Always a friendly staff. Great job!

Gone here a couple times. Best chocolate milk I've had. The workers are all young, yet they're very professional and respectful.

Family loved the pumpkin pie ice cream. Fudge brownie sundae was awesome. Showed up a few minutes before closing and the displayed a very positive attitude and made us feel welcome.

I love Oberweis ice cream.
I think it is the best. My wife says it is sweeter than most. I don't know if that's true but I do know that I love the taste. This last visit I had a large chocolate malt with whipped cream and a cookie. Awesome!

Super super tasty. It's not cheap but it worth it! The chocolate cake shake and add some caramel topping, ufff super delicious!

Electric vibes at all times for all ages. This is what am ice cream place should be. Even down to the chess tables and refrigerators of milk. Phenomenal

AMAZING ice cream!! Rich and creamy deliciousness. We ordered a black cherry malt, cookie dough ice cream, and birthday cake - everyone was satisfied and wishing we could take some home (we live 5 hours away, so not a practical option). They also have a refrigerator and freezer section to take things home if you're local or plan to pack a cooler and dry ice.

The chocolate milk and ice cream are fantastic.

Stopped by this place and was happy to see it was open late on a Sunday. Erin was great and provided top shelf service. Our ice cream came promptly despite a line of people waiting. Everyone was really busy but customers were never neglected. Great experience.

Excellent, Excellent customer service! Ice cream was amazing! My family and I loved the ice cream and the manager gave our kids balloons. The lemon blackberry was really good, the salted chocolate caramel and blackberry chocolate chip were amazing!

Good variety of icecream flavors. Staff is always nice. Well stocked. Enough seating to accomodate few rounds of customers. Too bad they got rid of games and chess/checkers.
