Friendly Food

I absolutely love this store! First of all, people there are indeed very friendly and sincere. I think a lot of people don’t know that you can order food from them too, but you need to call ahead, it most likely won’t be same day thing unless they already have something made at the store. I ordered pilaf, beef cutlets and Olivie salad (potato meat salad). And all the food was super delicious and fresh. It’s kind of like I visited my mom’s house and she made dinner for me. I also got Napoleon cake which was super fresh and delicious. I highly recommend friendly foods.

This place is fantastic!!! The people are super friendly, speak Russian, but no way are going down your throat about the war at all, instead just have a great selection of Eastern European food. I can’t wait to eat the caviar from them again, it’s sooooo yummy!!

Very friendly people indeed. The door says "russian store" but Ukrainians will feel safe here -- the people who work here speak Ukrainian and are from Ukraine! They have lots of great foods from all over Eastern Europe, even the best Lithuainian gira (kvass.) If you're boycotting products that pay taxes to the russian or belarusian militaries, you'll want to check the labels. The best food they have here is the fresh stuff anyway, and you can even make orders. Such a gem!

Awesome deli and bakery. They are the sweetest Ukrainian family that runs the market truly living up to their name.

This little store is great! They don’t have a great variety but what they have especially their deli section is amazing. Come here for ready to eat golubcy (cabbage leaves stuffed with mixture of rice, ground meat (they have beef) and spices and the slowly cooked in the sauce made from tomatoes, onions, carrots and spices), vinegret (cooked beats, carrots, beans, and other veggies with a bit of oil for dressing is great for vegetarians and vegans), kotlets, pastries and much more. In my opinion, their deli items taste better than those at Tanya’s store. They also have a great variety of Easter European sausages and everything can be sampled.

The owner and his employees are friendly, helpful and always happy to see their customers. They told me that a lot of their deli foods can be cooked with special dietary requests and can be purchased in bulk for home or catering.

Great location for Beaverton area. Great products. Will be stopping by in future

This place has become my weekly stop for Russian home-made absolutely delicious food that my husband and daughter can’t get enough of. And, yes, their daily home made rice pilaf is just perfect! Thank you!

It's a small grocery store, packed with a lot of goodies from Eastern Europe. There is also a small section of ready-to-eat food. Everything is fresh. Never disappointing, and the service is really friendly.

I love this place. I used to live in SE pdx and there is a Russian store on every corner. There aren't so many in SW but this place is great. Fresh selection of deli meats, cheeses, salads and other amazing and yummy Russian foods. Plus they cater. Ask Nadya about this service. Made fresh to order.

Really yummy homemade Russian style cakes with all the thin layers of cake n cream. Good selection of pelmeni (Russian dumplings). Ask about fresh piroshki! Available a few days a week, a little harder to get but worth it. Nice selection of other Russian staples and condiments. I'm not Russian but enjoy the food. A little gem of a store.

Friendly Food is, as the name implies - friendly. I think the woman at the counter is the owner, she was very pleasant and helpful. It seems they have a small bakery in the back where they bake some of the desserts they sell.

The food I bought is fresh, delicious and reasonably priced. If you're adventurous, try "herring under (fur?) coat" salad - it's layers of potatoes, herring pieces, beets, mayo, maybe something else and really flavorful! If you're there when they make pirozhki - ask them to warm one up for you and have it on the spot :-)

I live in Beaverton and it's the best European food store.. The owner is very friendly and great...... The prices are low compared to the other stores ... and the homemade food is incredible 👍👍👍
