Sugar Rush Candy Shop

Having a bit of a sweet tooth, I’ve frequented candy shops in big cities and touristy areas: when I heard one was opening in my own town, I expected it to be lesser but was quite surprised at how fantastic it was! Lots of unique, fun, and wacky types of candy and sweets here, felt like a kid again here!

Great place to go for sweets! Cotton candy is my favorite. They make it fresh. I usually stop in a few times a month if I can to get candy. Employees are very friendly. I think the owner has waited on me a few times and she's super sweet and kind. Haven't really had any bad experiences just outstanding ones! I'd definitely recommend sugar rush to everyone. (They have candy that I havent seen since I was a kid)

I love this shop. First thing that you will notice is cleanliness. The store is cleaned morning and evening everyday. The candy assortment is fantastic. You will find the staples (my personal favorite is malted balls) and some unusual offerings, too. Check it out. I guarantee that you will find something that you like.

Love this candy shop! This is just what Lynchburg needed! I love the variety this shop has to offer. Lots to choose from for everyone. I really like the additional options they have like the fresh popcorn, hand spun cotton candy, and snow cones! The chocolate case is amazing! I also love all of the neat non edible items. The Furry Bones collection is adorable! Young or old, you will absolutely find something you love in this shop! Highly recommend!

I feel like it's been almost 20 years ago that River Ridge Mall has had a REAL candy store! Sugar Rush has an awesome variety of sweets including some rather unique flavors and even locally made candies. My personal favorite candies I buy at Sugar Rush are the beautifully hand-crafted N Collection chocolate truffles, made by Nancy's Candy Company in Meadows of Dan, Virginia.

Great selection, check them out! Also, glad to see they are taking the necessary precautions to keep everyone safe.
