The Home Depot

Went there on a rainy windy night to pick up a bath tub half an hour before the store was closing. Super grateful for the security guard, Columbus, who went above and beyond his job duties to help us put the tub into the truck. He was so kind and thoughtful to tell me to stay under the covering so that I did not get wet in the rain. Nicest security I’ve ever encountered at Vallejo. Five star rating on his excellent customer service. 🙏🏼

I think it’s telling that I am actually writing a review for a Home Depot. I usually avoid going into home improvement stores, but alas, I waltzed into this HD after accidentally going to the Vallejo one instead of Fairfield. And while I’m certain Fairfield has a fine HD, OH MY GOSH — Home Depot, Vallejo has changed my mind about this establishment. Everyone was so nice. We were purchasing trees, flowers, and other garden-y things and spent like 2 hours in there. The cashier (Tonya) was awesome, the multiple workers (especially Alex) that helped me were phenomenal, and we were very happy. Anyway, 10/10.

TLDR - Home Depot Vallejo is great.

This month's project includes painting our kitchen cabinets. While visiting Home Depot we learned that the paint was cheaper then their competitors. During my visit I picked the wrong paint and the young man at the counter helped me get the correct one. A week later I needed more paint and he was there to help once again. I tried to take his picture to share in this review but he works so fast he couldn't stand still. Thanks Home Depot for hiring hard working staff.

Staff is always helpful...see video! "Can i help you sir?" Asked by store employee. Clean and organized as well. Given discounts several times when asked. Top tier Home Depot.

Gary was so helpful in plumbing today! He made us feel comforttable with our task and was so thorough in his explanation, that we came home and knew exactly what to do! Thank you Gary and Home Depot for having such a knowledgeable and helpful staff.

Great customer service. Looking for new carpet and flooring. Melvina was very helpful with matching the carpet and vinyl and made sure I understood the quality if the items I chose. I originally wanted berber, but because I have pets she reminded me that their nails might get caught. I appreciated that because I didn't think of that.

Service has vastly improved since management changed hands. They have no problem assisting me with loading my car while I've been pregnant, unlike other stores and services. Thank you!

We spend over 50 k a month at Home Depot and we’ve been in many of them. The Vallejo HD has exceptional service and they have impressed us with their willingness to help on the loading ramps for contractors, their professional and friendly service and the speed of responsiveness to questions, ordering and locating product. We have been very pleased with the manager Gary’s handling of the store from reducing clutter in the aisles to high staff moral to ensuring timely delivery of materials. Well run HD! Tonight was hands down the best experience I've ever had ever at a home depot!!! Kevin helped us with retrieving a sink from the very very top shelf and, then offered his assistance with and knowledge about the items needed to complete the installation of the new sink. There wasn't any question that went unanswered and he had a great attitude throuought our whole interaction. Everyone else that helped us in the plumbing department was great as well.
The company I work for is huge on our signature service standards so it's nice to actually go somewhere and be treated the way we treat customers. Way to go!

The only complaint I have is not regarding customer service but about the laundry soap. WHYYYYYYY is that locked up? The wait to get that unlocked is so long it's not worth waiting for . It's laundry soap.. please reconsider locking that 🙏

Always good to go 2 Home Depot. excellent selection especially the garden section. I have never gone in and couldn't find what I needed. Staff is starting to get better at being available to find what you need.

Well it's just another Home Depot, the staff was very courteous and helpful in both the plumbing department and the electrical department. On Sunday they only had two cashiers, yet on Monday when I went back there was six.

Nicest and most helpful staff of any HD I've been to.
Bought an appliance there and everyone was super helpful. Looked for a few plants and the very nice guy in the plant department directed me right to them. Usually they just blink and say they arent sure. Just great staff at this HD. Friendly and very helpful. Thanks guys!

I thought I will never find anyone to help at home Depot Vallejo until I met Mae at the Pro desk, wonderful, knowledgeable, kind, friendly, etc I can't say enough about her, she makes a difference there, I can finally go back there knowing that somebody capable will be there to help. Kudos to Mae at the Pro desk!!!!

Best customer service out of any Home Depot I've ever been to! It started with the store manager helping me look for an item. I've never seen so many helpful employees at 1 location!
Personally, I think the manager should get a raise. She sets the tone on how to provide amazing customer service and walks the walk with them.

The staff is a great. Helpful and friendly. Definitely the best Home Depot that i have been to. I'll never go to the Napa store again

Quick and easy visit to pick out colors for sister's house. Got exterior paint, sample size, to see larger swatches of the color combinations.

One worker welcomed me at the door. Another worker expertly rang up my eight hundred dollar order for a water heater. A third worker said 'hello'. The store was well stocked. I saw hundreds of Christmas trees for sale. Sadly, with President Biden in office, families can't afford to buy Christmas decorations.

For the first time being there, I liked it and the service was good. Found everything I needed and didn't have trouble with it.
