Fartleks Running Shop Smoothie Stop

Andrew helped me pick out Brooks Glycerin to make it easier to be on my feet all day in a warehouse. He assisted me in ordering a color I liked online and I was able to pick them up the next business day. Knowing nothing about shoes I'm really grateful that he had just the right recommendations! Fantastic experience!

So far I've had three different protein smoothies and they all have been awesome! If you are a runner, walker, or smoothie enthusiast, you better stop in!

Andrew was SUPER knowledgeable and helped me pick out the best socks for my runs! He also recommended some running groups in the area all while letting me talk about being new to running! Great experience and will be returning for everything I need running related!

My family had a great experience at Fartleks! Andrew was incredibly patient and thorough with my oldest daughter as she picked out shoes for her upcoming cross country season. I would guess he went through a dozen options with her. The smoothie he made for my other two daughters was delicious.

Great selection of running gear, smoothies taste good. Also thankful that many local races can do packet pick up there. For those of us who work in Wichita but live in surrounding counties its convenient.

Andrew, the owner of Fartleks, was great. He let me talk his ear off for 20 or 30 minutes. Instead of trying to upsell an item from his store, he recommended REI. He was very friendly and open, also helped me with their shoe selection, recommending based on his own experiences as well. It's a great running shop near Exploration Place, with a good variety of shoes, clothes, and gear. I'm going back today to buy shoes since I trust them and recommend them to all types of runners.

This is by far the BEST running store in the Wichita area. The shoe selection is great, the smoothies are amazing, the staff is super helpful, the list goes on. If I could give them 6 stars I would. 10/10 would recommend

Went in to get a new pair of running shoes, and they carry Newtons!! Which are my jam. Love Newtons! Cute store and very helpful! If you are a runner, check them out!! Great variety of shoes from the track to the trail and everything in-between. Andrew and his staff are in-tune with the needs of runners at every level, and they are very involved with the Wichita running community. Locally owned and operated— shop local❤

Excellent shop with a knowledgeable owner and friendly staff. I stopped in for a pair of new easy run/training shoes and found a great selection. The owner gave me some great suggestions so that I picked the right pair and I couldn't be happier! They've got a great selection of socks, fuel, gear, and even some great zero-drop weight lifting shoes. Definitely the go-to spot for all types of runners, but especially ultra runners.

Andrew was very helpful. Went in to pick up a race packet & get a smoothie... & ended up getting some Oofos, a neon hat, & Cur Rex inserts for my high arch. They even carry Junk headbands, my fave (I own close to 50)! Everyone was great & the smoothie was unique & tasty. Prices comparable to other shops all around. I'll be back! 💛

This is a very friendly place for Wichita runners and sports enthusiasts. Has a little bit of everything. Or just stop in for a sports smoothie. All types and flavors to fit your needs.

Fartleks is a welcome addition for the Wichita running community and Delano neighborhood! New favorite running store in town with a great selection of shoes, socks, sunglasses, gear, and various nutrition options. Friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful staff. Wednesday group runs along the Arkansas River have become part of my weekly routine! Highly recommended for all levels of runners/walkers/enjoyers of smoothies.

I’ve only been getting into running seriously the last few months, but when I went in Andrew was extremely helpful and offered guidance to get me going.

I tried on a bunch of different shoes, and was encouraged to run around outside in them to get a feel, in the end found some shoes I loved and am ready to get some miles on.

Amazing!!! The service was so kind and friendly. I got to try on as many shoes as I liked, and never felt pressured to make a decision or purchase I wasn’t sure about. When they had to order my shoes specially, they handled the order and reached out to me personally when they came in. Then I got to try them on again to be sure I was happy with them! Judgement free and knows their stuff!

Goooo!!! They were a last resort when our spikes didn't come in time for an XC Meet! Nobody in West Wichita had Spikes but they had THREE options!!! Such a cute shop and everyone is so friendly!!!! They just opened in April of 2022. Spread the word, shop and get a smoothie!:)

The Starr is Wonderful, the smoothies are the best I've ever had. They also have a great selection of running or walking gear.
