Play Hollow

THE BEST! Not only is the store full of carefully selected, high quality kids clothing, educational toys, and accessories, but the back play room is an absolute treasure. My toddler loves free play and attended space summer camp here. The summer camp was well-organized, playful, joyful, and educational. Sign up early- they sell out fast. This place is truly a treasure, full of high energy, passionate, and kind staff.

I stopped in while visiting the area, and found a beautiful selection of children’s toys, clothes and accessories. It’s clear that the owners carefully curate and really care about their choices! There was also a sensory table to keep my toddler occupied, and found that they actually hold classes and playtime in another room. They were extremely friendly (which is wonderful considering I find that a lot of children’s stores don’t want kids touching anything 🤣!)

We will absolutely be back for play time when we’re back in town, and I plan to order a few things for upcoming baby showers since they give such great suggestions, so I can trust them to pick things for me!!

I have a kiddo I work with that struggles with socializing, so I take him to Play Hollow's sensory and social class whenever we get a chance. The staff at Play Hollow have been so incredibly accommodating to him. They had adaptive scissors available for him when we were completing a craft. They make sure he's comfortable and remind the other children to be mindful of their volume. They offer him a quiet place when he needs it. They really try so hard to make sure every kid can participate and feel welcome, which is not a common experience in community spaces. I honestly can't say enough good things about Play Hollow and the people that work there!

Such a fun and cute shop! The store owner, Natalia, is so friendly and is very passionate about creating an engaging environment for kids. I especially love the focus on community and nature. I could have bought everything in the store, but left with "the kids gratitude kit" that my daughter already loves. I will certainly be back soon for other gifts!

This store was really cute, the stuff is unique and my kids loved playing in the space in the back while I shopped. They have coffee and a lending library in the front with a little sofa, and several chairs in the open play space in the back. I bought 4 bilingual books (3 English-Spanish, 1 English-Swahili), a small toy, and a wooden craft kit for under $50, so it's reasonably priced for this kind of store, in my experience. The owner is a bilingual SLP and knew a lot about using a one-parent-one-language approach at home, which we're doing with our kids. I just wish I lived here so I could go to their classes/workshops!

Play Hollow has the best wooden toys. There are so many imaginative toys for children to engage in curious play! There are a bunch of Spanish, French books for kids, I've stocked up! Natalia has so many cool class offerings too! This store is a little gem of Ballston Spa.

I love this store! It has such a thoughtfully curated selection of children’s toys and clothes that the big box stores just don’t have. My son literally wanted to play with everything.

The owner was so helpful and has a background in childhood development and early education. I’ll definitely be back again next time we are in town.

Wonderful children's place, great owner. My kids love hanging out with Natalia. We purchased some of their Christmas presents here as well and they loved them.

The owner is super nice and knowledgeable about her products as well as child development. The products carried are all great quality at a reasonable price. I definitely recommend stopping by at least once to check things out.
