love this store! it brings back so many childhood memories. the ice cream is great and i purchased some pecans that were perfect for my pecan coffee cake.

Best Ice cream, great flavors to choose from.

I used to work here like 6 to 7 years ago, and I'm excited to see the shop is still running smoothly. Haven't been by the shop in like 4 or 5 years. I stopped by there today and the store is so beautiful. Same people still running the place so I know the customer service is still great. I still get the same warm feeling entering the store as I did back in high school. Freaking love this place.

I Love this place. I have been buying ice cream, peanuts and candy from the Peanut shop for years. You can smell the fresh aroma of peanuts cooking. I get the Blue mints all the time that melt in your mouth. Staff is very warm and nice. I am a weekly customer who enjoys everything about The Peanut Shop.

We have been going here for years. The elder gentleman that use to own was so sweet. Today we went in there I was sad to see he wasn't there. But of course we still brought some of there wonderful ice cream. Banana pudding ice cream and strawberry cheesecake ice cream. 😋

This place is great! Just went here for the first time, live in Church Hill. Nice to see a no frills place that does things good! They don't make the ice cream, but it sure is good. The chocolates seem really nice for gifts, and they make the peanuts there. Will be my future ice cream spot if possible! I wish they had some seating though. And needless to say, don't believe the review below that says they are closed! they are open now, at least

It's got that old time candy store vibe.
Me and a friend stopped in and got ice cream and some buffalo nuts. Both were very tasty and the service was great! I'd recommend this place

We love coming here!! Everyone who works here is so sweet and the spot has some history! Their roaster peanuts are addicting. We are going for a weekly pick up now!!! Love the dark chocolate with almonds too. Delish!

I love the Peanut Store. I've been going there since I was a kid and I take all my kids there now. A pillar black business and it's like a step back in time. Candy is weighed by the ounce and real ice cream flavors. I hope it never goes away.

I like this shop. You will spend some money but for fresh cooked or picked nuts you can't go wrong. You get what you pay for and that's high quality nuts of all varieties as well as excellent customer service from the women who makes you want to keep buying more. I will return again because of that warm welcome.

What an experience!!! Fresh products always and has a wonderful fragrance the employees are very courteous, wonderful and friendly , my buddy and i were on there yesterday , pecan delights are a must , i have to go back and get some more , visit when you get a chance.

I've been buying the yummy eats from this place since I was a really young person and they were downtown on Broad Street...There was nothing like that smell of fresh roasted peanuts as you were walking from Jackson Ward to downtown...I'm so glad they are still around, and can still offer those yummy eats I enjoy so very much...!! I love, love, love the "Black Walnut" ice cream, there's nothing that matches it for me...The close 2nd would have to be that "Eggnog", OMG, simply yummy...!! Thank you so much for still being here for us that love you and your yummy products...!! Continued Blessings...

I am a peanut in the shell addict, and there is nothing better than fresh roasted. You'll get it here. The last time I had fresh roasted peanuts was in Oklahoma City, about 30 years ago. I thought those days were gone, and I was amazed when I walked into this shop and saw an actual peanut roaster. Even though I don't live anywhere near M'ville, this is where I'm coming from now on to get my peanut fix.

I hadn't been there for a while. My experience was great. Had some delicious ice cream flavors 😋. Service was great.

It's a wonderful little shop with all the fine little pieces of candy. It has ice cream and good old fashion sodas.

they have butter brickle ice cream. only place I know that sells it. Good folks in there, very polite and great customer service!!!!!
