They have always been really helpful and nice people. Prices aren’t always the best I’ll be honest, however, I do appreciate the convenience of the store plus the wide variety of items. The sweet dog inside is a great plus!

I was having a horrible day. My water pump stopped working and they helped me find all new wiring parts. That didn't work unfortunately. I had just learned that my cat had inoperable cancer and I became very overwhelmed. I literally teared up in the store. There was nothing they could do at this point but I guess they told the owner how upset I was. He approached me at my van (I'm literally sobbing from frustration and embarrassment) and told me that he and the whole staff there would help me with whatever I needed. This act of kindness meant so much

David and the whole gang at Autry’s are always super helpful. Having this place so conveniently located is incredibly valuable. They almost always have what I need, including a great selection of hardware, paints, and garden supplies. This particular location has a handy section with gifts, and we’ve many times found just the right something for a birthday or other occasion.

Always have great customer service. Plus we’ll stocked with everything I need to keep house repaired plus more.

Autrys always has a great selection of items to look at for whatever you may need. Store is very well maintained and clean. The staff is also super friendly! I've been to a closer Ace where every minute or 2 someone is asking, "Can I help you?" Over & over again, even when you tell them you know where the item is.

Very pleasant experience. Bo was very nice professional and accommodating. Very thoughtful and conversational as if we've been long life friends. The owner was as well. He came out personally and checked on a minor issue, shaked my hand and thanked me for using is place of business (establishment). We need more small business owners with his disposition because it's contagious. Thanks for the experience! Jay

I initially had a frustrating experience that would've prompted a low star rating...but, the owner and staff made it a 5-star even despite the circumstances.
In short - an item I wanted showed "in stock" on the ACE website so I placed the order but, when I called to check on the status of when I could pick up the tool, they let me know it wasn't actually in stock.
Not being able to get the tool you need when you need it, is frustrating as heck!
I know it isn't their fault - but, that doesn't change the end result which is I need that tool today.
As I was on the phone we somehow got disconnected.
Less than a minute later the owner himself called me back and made sure I was able to cancel the order and apologized for the confusion via the website.
A small customer service detail like that means all the world to me.
Other hardware stores that are "big box" would have never called me back, they would have waited for me to call them.
My frustrations dissipated immediately.
Yes - I still don't have that darn tool - but, ultimately they gained a new fan/customer because of how they handled it!

I have visited Autrys ace since it opened. Never had a bad experience. Helpful people!

Went in for a repair on a blower after being told by another store it would take 3 months to repair. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Had my equipment back to me in a week at an incredibly reasonable price. I would definitely recommend.

Needed wood and some sleds before the snowstorm. Found both here! The wood was well priced at just a little over $4 a bundle.

Staff were cordial and, although I was planning to just load my seven bundles of firewood in my SUV, the cashier called for a gentleman to help me and he loaded them right up and spared my work clothes. Much appreciated y’all!!

Always get good service. I barely enter the store before they're helping me find my item. I'm usually in and out withing 5 minutes.

Great employees that understand customer service. I ordered a bbq grill over the phone to be assembled and delivered. The woman who took the order was very professional and knowledgeable. The delivery people were great also, professional and friendly. This is the best ACE hardware in Gainesville, GA.

Today I walked into Autry's on the hunt for a Big Green Egg package (large Egg and large Acacia table), after finding that many stores were on backorder for one item or the other. When I got there, I was also freshly irritated by the negative experience another retailer had just put me through. But as soon as I entered Autry's store, I was warmly greeted by more than one team member. Next thing I know, the owner David, is working with me directly to secure this huge Christmas gift (Dad was a good boy this year). Since Green Egg prices change from shop to shop, David quoted a different price than anticipated and I thought I was going to have to leave empty handed. David immediately began crunching some numbers and advised me he'd be able to price match me pretty close to what I was initially expecting from the other store. I promptly got through check out and imagine my surprise when I see David driving a forklift to my car, full of Green Egg boxes. It was as if Santa came early...on his forklift! Him and his crew got me loaded up quick, and now I can check this big thing off my list. The bottom line: I could have gone back to the retailer who gave me a negative experience because he actually did have the best price, but I'd rather spend my money with folks like David who understand the importance of treating people right. Thanks, David and crew; I'll be back for many years to come!

Great atmosphere and all the workers are very friendly. They ask how you're doing and to have a good day when entering and leaving.

I have never been inside a hardware store that smelled nice. It was very clean,the staff were polite and helpful,plus their gift shop is cute! They also sell local goods,which I thought was a nice touch. Not to mention how clean and organized everything was inside the store! Not a single item was misplaced.

Great service and even better people! This is our go to spot, everyone is always helpful and I can’t say enough good things about the place.

Always helpful! Had a weird request for paint and they took the time to assist even though it was only for a small amount. Always pleased with the service levels!
