Dollar General

In the past couple years going to the dollar general in Mills River has been a struggle. Everything was scattered, employee morale was down, and the same faces were working 80 hours per week. The other day my wife and I went in to get some toys for the kiddos. The store was brighter, cleaner, and there were more employees in the store fixing it up than I have ever seen. I met the manager for the district who was stocking the shelves and organizing the store himself. He told us that he had recently been employed into the role and that he had hired a new manager for our local store. He was energetic and excited about his hires and about the future. I am glad I came in that day because people were talking about how great it looked on their way out. We don’t normally shop at Dollar General unless it’s for something quick and cheap. It was great going in there and seeing the store get a facelift.

They are nice an friendly more often than not I run into employees that are rude an hateful because I clearance shop the employees act like it coming outta their check something up you would think since it mostly seasonal that they want outta way. My question why dollar General why are over 50 percent of your employees rude, short, an ill mannered toward clearance shopping , even using coupons including digital. Even penny shopping if you make this available why are employees rude to your customers after all we are all just trying save a dollar any way we can price if living has but not pay an I almost never shop at Wal-Mart now even with rude employees I still remain a loyal customers now if staff didn't make ya feel hatred when walk in we are what makes you pay!!!!!!???????

Very good people very good people to work with they're always so nice and I see them about everyday I live so close to the store so I use it quite often I hope they don't get tired of seeing my get tired of seeing me everyday cuz I enjoy seeing them everyday

I love DG because it is way smaller than Walmart, the prices are similar, the crowds are gone, checkout is a breeze, and the associates are most always helpful and attainable.

Great service here! The employees are always there to help you find items, low prices & normally has everything I need in stock, etc...

The best store in Red Springs.They have practically anything you need.Digital Coupons are such a big help.I save so much especially if I use a coupon and then if its on sale.Sometimes I save $15 or $20 dollars.

This store is under new management and has improved greatly!!

People knock these stores. But small town America would be at a loss without them. Especially when there are literally no other stores close by. Many Sundays passing through small towns these stores saved us.
