Before you buy anything online, or go to a large corporate store, stop into this great store and speak with the folks here. They do carry a lot of nice things in stock, but if you want something a bit more special, they have access to be able to order it from a quality and legitimate resource. They give great advice, and when I have bought things secondhand, they check it over and make sure everything on it is in excellent shape before I spend. Love this small local business!

What a great local music shop! Dylan was super helpful with my entire family. We have been looking for a starter violin kit for our 10 year old daughter, bought one online and it was junk. They showed us various options and made suggestions, showed us how to tune it, apply rosen to the bow and tips on maintenance especially making sure the bow is loosened before packing to prevent bowing. I was interested in a guitar and mandolin, he ended up working a deal for me for both the Violin and the mandolin that I couldn't resist, he encouraged us to come back if we had any issues. Excellent customer service that is rare these days. Enthusiastic A++!.

Friendly, helpful and just plain nice folk. My grandson had guitar lessons here a few years back before he moved and thought highly of them.

Excellent, friendly, and knowledgeable customer service. Dillon has an impeccable reputation and continues to live up to it! Also, he is capable and willing to do a vast array of repairs, which is an invaluable service, because it is not easily accessible in the area. When providing services to the public, business owners are sadly subjected to the entitlement philosophy. If they received a million dollars in cash, they’d feel cheated because it wasn’t 1.5 million.

I've been in and out of Murlin's MW from the time I was 15 and I'm now 45. The staff is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable when it comes to advise and answers on just about any type of gear. The store has always been and still is very well kept and clean, not to mention the atmosphere is comfortable and laid back. No pushy sales reps, just informative and helpful folks.

Small shop with a wide range of prices, some vintage guitars, about anything you might be looking for. Very knowledgeable owner and long time player. Friendly and ready to help. Worth the stop and I will be back. Check it out

Best music store in the state with the most friendly people..

We rented a sound system, speakers, and microphones for our wedding ceremony and reception and were so pleased with the ease of communication and quality of the equipment. We appreciate the staff's helpfulness and organization. You guys were great!

Haven't been to Murlin's in a while. Visited there 2/4/16. Still looks mostly the same but has different owners. I needed supplies for my acoustic and employees were very helpful, polite, and seemed knowledgeable to me. Saw some other posts here putting the place down. I didn't see any of that myself. I will definitely return in the future.

Ive been going to these guys for years and I love this place! The employees are always friendly, joking around, but ready to help once you need it. They have fixed a couple of my guitars, sold me countless string sets, microphones, and other odds and ends. They may have just talked me into my first fender guitar
..Im an gibson/epiphone guy myself, but that fender sounded great! Overall really personable and great place to shop.

Nice and helpful staff. I stopped by with some questions about an old violin of mine and to get new strings for it. Nick made some suggestions and even put the strings on for me! I definitely stop here first to support local businesses!

I was excited to see this small local business back open. The nicest people here that know music. I wouldn't trust my guitar to anyone else.

Chris is an excellent guitar teacher. I went to him because a local fB page recommended him to teach kids. I have been taking lessons from him for about 6 months now and highly, highly recommend him for lessons. I also purchased a great guitar from upstairs that is solid wood at an incredible price.
