Green Acres Health Food Store

This place! Just wow. It's not your average health food store. Rather... it is, and nothing is there that can't be found at other similar types of stores. But!!! I go here because of Theo. Theo, I think, is a manager and is very well knowledgeable about many things pertaining to natural supplements. Also, the owner, his name is Bahar. (I'm sure the spelling is incorrect) He is also very informative. They have health fairs throughout the year and invite reps from the different supplements manufacturers to come.
If I could recommend one thing to the owner, it would be to improve their online social media footprint. Twitter, TikTok, and more postings on Instagram. Offer gift baskets throughout the year in a raffle or contest to customers who post their experience on social media and videos about the store. Gift baskets that would really want customers to participate or any other kind of package. They can @ whatever Green Acres Twitter, Tiktok, or other social media name to connect their post or video. But overall, it's a great place to visit. Well worth the money you'll spend.

My dad had cancer and I found all the herbs and oils he need to make it easier.
Gentlemen at the counter knows alot and can guide you easily to what your looking for.

Green acres is a breathe of fresh air, I know when I shop here the ingredients are always clean. You can tell time was taken to insure quality of every product. Thank you for being here!

They always have what I need to remain healthy. I consistently buy Sea Moss and Soursop Bitters. I also buy Manuka Honey, which is an awesome natural antibiotic. It's great for cold symptoms. Great store, owner and staff.

While it was a quick visit, I felt like a kid in a candy store. There's a soup bar (smelled delicious) and a wide variety of products for your health needs. The staff was friendly and helpful. I look forward to visiting again for a better look around.

This was my first time here and I will be a regular customer from now on. The Staff is helpful and knowledgeable, the owner made sure to come over and ask if I had any questions. Every question I asked he answered and explained in depth. Wether you’re new to natural products or if you’re an expert, you will be completely satisfied after visiting this store. I love this store! The employees are so nice and helpful, they play great music, and I love the smell. I come here at least twice a month to get my exclusive vegan items!

Last night was my first time and I'm totally excited by the selection of products. Can't wait to shop here again. I live near Princeton but I will make the drive to Green Acres because the selection is great in a small place. It's not as overwhelming as Whole Foods. Our natural store on Nassau is great too but doesn't carry everything that Green Acres does.

We've been shopping here for years and keep going back because of their attention to customers, great selection, and reasonable prices.

You may be able to find cutthroat prices elsewhere on some items, but you won't find the same great level of customer care.

They've made several recommendations for products throughout the years that've proven quite helpful and have given me and my family great results (something you learn to appreciate even more when feeling sick as can be with a cold/flu/other ailment and are praying for relief).

Big shout out to Theo, Ann, Wakar, and the rest of the staff. (After all these years, I still may not know the exact spelling of their names, but I do know how friendly and helpful they've been!) Thank you!!!

I just recently moved to South Plainfield and the nearest Whole Foods was too far away. I did a search for the closest organic grocery stores and found this place. Today was the first time I went there. It's not a big store. More like a convenient store, but they had everything I usually buy at Whole Foods here. It was great! I was afraid they wouldn't have much, but they did! The two girls working there were extremely nice and helpful. There are a ton of organic medicine, vitamins/health products here. I'll definitely be a regular here!

I was left with a horrible cough after COVID... tried home remedies, over the counter medicine! Cough drops, cough syrup... my mom purchased a sinus blaster and let me tell you! Taste horrible but it worked! I’m cough free! Truly recommend! Thank you for having this supplement it worked!

The best healhfood store around. Knowledgeable staff and have great clean products. Delicious all organic juice bar, great variety of supplements, gluten free and vegan food options. THEY HAVE EVERYTHING YOU NEED! My go to for everything now.

I don't see my other review I don't know what happened. I'm homebound in a wheelchair since I had a serious accident. I have experienced many problems and want to get my health back. All the people that work there really CARE ABOUT YOU AND YOU DON'T FIND THAT MUCH ANYMORE. They take the time to discuss your concerns and assist you no matter what. I am hoping to take an ambullette to the store soon so that I can meet the people that have been so helpful and caring. Also address my other concerns and feel more like the old me. Great customer service. I do wish they had more fresh food options, like a small café in addition to the juice bar or freshly made sandwiches. This area needs a good healthy and truly natural lunch spot.

Love it-the selection of natural herbal medicine is excellent; best place to get goldenseal root extract, without alcohol-or edible myrrh capsules-or EPO, evening primrose oil....I have personally seen these all-natural, inexpensive substances do miraculous things. Thank you, Green Acres, for your commitment to God-given, all-natural, plant-based substances that save lives and improve our quality of life.

Knowledgeable people great products and now started a fruit juice counter. Love it!I always shop for all of health needs. Highly recommended! Never disappointed!
