Floors Direct

Had a wonderful experience using Floors Direct to install a stair runner in our house. Pete came for an on-site estimate and Janet helped us make a decision on the type of carpet we wanted to use. She ordered samples of different carpets so that we could compare the various colors/styles against the color of our stairs. Their pricing is extremely competitive with other vendors. It was a pretty quick turnaround time of a few weeks... even through the busy holiday season!

TLDR: You should use floors direct.

Everything from the initial estimate through the final day was fantastic. Pete came out and did the estimate very quickly after the call to the office. He was knowledgeable and friendly. The people who came to actually perform the work were also friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I had tile removed from the kitchen, new hardwood floor put down and then the entire house sanded and stained.

The workers showed up on time and did a great job keeping the place as clean as they could. They were sanding and removing tile so there will be dust. There was a delay in the sanding starting due to a miscommunication but Pete was upfront, honest and communicative about it. Overall, the project still was completed on time. The sanding and staining guy gave me 4 options for stain color by mixing a few together. We were able to see the stains for two days in different lighting while they finished sanding the rest of the place. We got the color we were looking for.

We are very happy with the results and would use Floors Direct again.

I've got my floors installed by Floors Direct. Pete put so much attention since the beginning. Came to measure, brought samples, explained the entire process and tied me to a great installation team. It is great to have everything dealt with the same company, gives you peace of mind. Fair overall price, great timing, product quality. Everything is extremely well balanced. Installed a vinyl wood floor in our finished basement. It looks wonderful and we are very happy with the finished product. Our basement floor needed some leveling ahead of time. They came a day early to lay a leveling agent which made the floor nice and level, the vinyl floor went down so smooth on top of that. Great job, I would recommend and use them again in the future.

We had an amazing experience with floors direct! We bought my nanas old farmhouse and wanted to make the kitchen a little more modern. We went with luxury vinyl tile in washed butternut and I could not be happier! Their customer service and work they did was exceptional and over the top. I am so happy!

I used Floors Direct to rip up wall to wall carpeting and install a luxury vinyl plank floor throughout the first floor of my townhouse. They were actually there early, they were helpful, and very professional. Oh and the new floor is awesome! Janet in the office was fantastic helping me chose the flooring and arranging everything. Peter was fantastic listening and looking at the needs of the space.

Super personable and professional from start to finish dealing with Pete and Jennifer. Patient helping us choose a long lasting, quality but not overly expensive carpet.

Major shoutout to Alex and Bryan their technicians. True craftsmanship and attention to detail. Went above and beyond. Worked efficiently. Communication was great. Cleaned up each day. My wife noticed something she wasnt happy about and without any question it was addressed. Felt very comfortable with them in my home. Even my two young kids got along with them.

Amazing and easy new carpet experience! Went directly to their store in Bedminster and met with Jennifer who graciously went over dozens of carpet samples and was very open about pricing. Made another appointment for measurements via texting with Janet and texting was so prompt and productive. Carpet was installed, old carpet was taken away, and it was done by the time I got home for dinner. Truly an awesome and care-free scenario, my rooms are perfect and it looks so great! Can't recommend enough!!

This was the second time I used Floors Direct and both times had an excellent experience. Excellent workmanship… love my new carpet!

Simply stated, this entire company is AMAZING! Our daughter and son-in-law recently purchased a townhouse and needed 3 levels of flooring. They visited a large local brand name floor company and chose their flooring. However, when their estimator came out to measure he noticed a large hump (floor joist raised approx 1+" ) and said they would not/ could not install luxury vinyl because of the hump (too costly and time consuming) and could not guarantee it. Because my daughter/ SIL were set on LVF my wife started her internet search and found the reviews for Floors Direct LLC. Bedminster, NJ (All 5 Star). We gave Floors Direct a call and immediately spoke with Janet. Janet understood our dilemma and mentioned that her father, Pete, owned the company and had 40+ years of flooring experience. Within a few days Pete Kelly inspected the floor and said his staff could correct the problem. After several weeks of delays by another contractor, Pete's crew started correcting the sub-floor. This included pulling up a number of 4x8 plywood flooring sheets and planing down a number of floor joists and support pieces. The finished product was perfectly level in a matter of a few hours. (Thank you John and Alex!!!) Once the main level was corrected the rest of their crew finished the townhouse within 2 1/2 days. They did a superb job and I know we will be using this company for all of our future flooring needs.
Can you get flooring cheaper somewhere else? Probably- but I know you will not be able to get the personal attention and quality that comes from Floors Direct. They literally treat you like family and I would give them 10 stars if possible! Thank you to the whole Floors Direct team!!!

Professional and attentive staff. Definitely a family owned feel. We had both upstairs and downstairs of the house completed at the same time. It was completed in a very efficient method. Clean and orderly.

What a great experience we had with the Floors Direct team. The service was phenomenal beginning with the selection of the carpet for our bedrooms and a carpet runner to the final installation process. The guys did a great job with the installation and the team in the office were always available to answer questions and offer suggestions. What great customer service! We definitely will be using their services again.

We are so happy we used Floors Direct to install our stairway and upstairs hallway carpet runner. The owner of the company, Peter, was a delight to work with. He shared his expertise and offered his services at a very good value. Alex, Steve, and Brian who came to install the carpet were respectful, professional, and experts at their craft. I needed a last minute carpet stretching job before my carpets were cleaned, and Pete and his crew were able to come in late in the afternoon and do a phenomenal job! I wouldn't hesitate to call Floors Direct for anything in the future.

Team installed new luxury vinyl floors in my condo. They also replaced the shoe modeling. I found the process to be excellent. Pete’s team is in-house and not subcontracted out, which makes the experience much better. The coordination was stellar and the install crew worked diligently with a keen eye for detail. Most importantly, Pete and team back up their work. We had no issues but if we ever do in the future I’m confident Pete will stand behind his work product. Finding contractors is tough for any job, but I can’t recommend Pete / Floors Direct enough. If we do work to future properties, he’s our floor contact through and through.

Janet in their office was quick to respond and set up an appointment quickly. We met with owner Pete and in one appointment were able to develop a plan for the luxury vinyl flooring, carpet materials and installation.
They were at the house installing a week later -
The work was perfect - careful attention to detail was evident throughout the process - the installation team was considerate of our requests and thoughtful about their work while in the home.
