I LOVE this community coffee shop! Gabriel is THE BEST host ever. Makes the most delicious latte with oat milk and two shots of espresso (from ORENS !!!). DEELISH! But honestly I come here to see Gabriel and meet the coolest coffee drinkers in the area. What a vibrant community hub!! I’m here on a rainy day and the sun shines inside this cozy cafe!

I came for the great coffee, but stayed for the conversation. Gabriel, the owner, is friendly and makes you feel so welcome, all while serving delicious coffee! This cold brew is the best in the area. He was nice enough to take the time to show me how he prepares it and taught me some tricks for preparing it at home. The bean selection is great too. Will definitely return!

I think I found my new favorite coffee place in NJ 😁 Gabriel is THE MAN 💪🙏 The coffee is incredible and the atmosphere is incredibly chill. Gabriel is our fearless leader on days we need to get our kids to nap in the car, because kids. We go on our epic 26 mile round trip journey to see the "cookie Cafe" as our kids refer to Goldfinch since Gabriel always indulges them. Oh, yeah, coffee! We're coffee snobs that found him via Google and decided to try it out 4 months ago. Ever since then, we have been making 2 to 4 trips out every week. We love that he changes up the coffee, introduces us to new ways of enjoying coffee, and enjoy his excitable and warm charm. Go team Goldfinch! Thank you for helping us get through this wonderful stage of our kids' development.

I can't say enough good things about this coffee shop and the wonderful owner. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm and welcoming smile. It's evident that Gabriel genuinely cares about his customers, taking the time to get to know you and make you feel at home.

One word: Amazing! The owner is meticulous and knows his coffee. He was incredibly kind and has created such a welcoming atmosphere. My husband and I will now become regulars and plan on making this our weekend spot for coffee. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this place! Oh, did I mention it's dog friendly?

The coffee here is truly amazing and Gabriel is a great host and entertainer! It’s hard to find shops that actually sell coffee that tastes like coffee and not water or milk, and Goldfinch did not disappoint! The cost was very worth the quality, I will definitely be coming back here!

My son plays D&D at the attached Bearded Dragon every Sunday. I “volunteer” to take him so I can enjoy an espresso and a conversation with Gabriel. He’s more than an owner/barista, he’s a true host. Treat yourself to a cup and a conversation with Gabriel.

The only thing better than the espresso is the service, personality, and love that the owner Gabriel brings to the modest coffee shop. The care he gives to the coffee and the customer is un-matched. Absolutely come to Goldfinch for the coffee and stay for the experience.

Gabriel clearly knows his stuff - his willingness to just talk and educate is really endearing and gives the whole place an air of friendliness that's tough to beat. And the coffee? Delicious. Delightful. Really glad I decided to stop by.

Today, I stopped by what seemed to be a quaint town coffee shop but proved us otherwise to be vibrant and fun with the ever so personable owner, Gabriel. If you want a great cup, conversation and a bonus Espresso 101 visit Goldfinch! :)

Gabe’s coffee is the best in town, no question. With very few places that really *care* about making a good cup of coffee — as opposed to just getting the customer a coffee and getting them out the door — he stands out from the crowd. He’s friendly, the atmosphere is quaint and pleasant, and the best part (in my opinion) is that it doesn’t just feel like another coffee place.
Goldfinch is in a league all it’s own here.

If you are passing through Bernardsville this place is worth the stop. Gabriel is a wonderful, enthusiastic person who is passionate about coffee. Great espresso and wonderful lates. Just outside the main intersection but worth the trip.

By far the best true coffee shop in the area. The beans are fresh and coffee delicious. I stop by several days a week and hang with Gabriel. He is creating something special for Bernardsville.
