GameStop

The new manager here shouldn’t be in his position. He’s rude, condescending and displays very unprofessional behavior. Have been in twice since Bill and the old crew have left and I don’t think I’ll be back to this location even though it’s closer to where I live compared to other locations in the area. The other 2 employees seem green to the retail industry but they do try even though there are times the inner manager in me cringes at their behavior. Just a major downturn as a customer who has been going to that location for years. Wouldn’t recommend.

Manager mentioned above is no longer at this location and Mike is awesome there. His crew are also great to deal with. Reminds me a lot of the old crew with the personable, knowledgeable and overall great attitude that they present. Love going back to my original store on a regular basis again.

I've been to a few game stops, out in Tacoma, up in duluth, in Kalamazoo, down in ricelake. But this one is my favorite. I feel more welcomed here than other locations. It's fun to just talk games, and browse what they have. I've spent a lot here and I still keep coming back. Great location, kept much much cleaner than some of the other locations, always nice to even just window shop if nothing else. Highly recommend, good experiences.

Stopped in the other day. Dealt with Dylan. Super cool guy with a good personality, was super helpful with everything and very easy to talk to. Seems very passionate about his job. Not a lot of people like him in customer service anymore. While duluth is easier and closer to me, I will definitely be back to this location before the others.

I've always had great experiences at this store, but today - during the Pro Days Sale - Gabe & Courtney went above and beyond to provide excellent service for me. Days like today are why I keep coming into physical stores instead of just shopping online. Kudos all around!

UPDATED REVIEW, 03/07/22:

The new manager, by the name of Dillon, was probably the most helpful, least corporate garbage manager I've ever met at a GameStop. He went out of his way to engage with us, even when bringing up past issues with this particular store. We will now be shopping exclusively at this GameStop for games, so long as the angry mask/vaccine cultists aren't in charge. It's nice to see our issues (and those of others) have finally been addressed. Give Dillon a raise and have him train your other staff, because he's literally the only reason I didn't walk in that store, yell "let's go, Brandon" and walk out. If any of you corporate big-wigs are reading this, STOP WITH THE MASKS. NO ONE CARES ANYMORE.

OLD REVIEW:
Extremely unprofessional manager complaining about not being able to keep employees because of the pandemic. Would not stop preaching politics to me because I had the audacity to call their mask mandate in a state that doesn't have one ridiculous. Congratulations on losing my business and that of my friends who previously shopped at Gamestop for years. No wonder they're doing so poorly — the stores are managed by angry children with zero social skills putting their woke ideology before profit. Keep alienating your customer base and see how well that works out.

Even though I am from all the way in Canada, every time I visit the staff are so nice and polite. The store is clean with good prices and so many fun things to buy! I have always had a good opinion but they truly go above and beyond. When I had the misfortune of leaving and realizing that a game had not been put in the case until I was back in Canada, they were so kind and held onto it for me until my family could return to pick it up. They even remembered after so long! I will praise this store and its staff and it will be one of my favourite places to visit when I come to the US! ♡

Love this place, get all my gaming necessities and the staff is so nice and helpful. Love talking about new games with them and as a girl that games, I feel so welcome at this location than at others. They really do know how to make a happy customer. This GameStop is my number one store to go to if I need something!

Holy $***, Mike (637292) is the man. I have never had such a pleasant retail experience. Single-handedly made me want to sign up for the rewards program. Not only is he passionate about gaming, but everyone he interacted with walked away in a good mood. My only regret is that I wish I lived closer to this GameStop.

I'm starting to go here more and more as of recently, one of the workers there (unsure of his name) treats everyone who comes in great, he went to the back to get extra promotional items and is overall very friendly, great location.

Buy online or in store for same day pickup.

They treated my daughter and me with kindness!! We were even given 2 gifts with the NBA 22. Truly grateful

I just went to this location the other day for the first time and I have to say that they have the friendliest staff of all the Gamestops I have been to. All three team members actually helped me at least once and even gave me a suggestion on a game, which i ended up purchasing. I highly reccomend this location to anybody in the Duluth/Superior location!

After my previous review, I stopped in randomly and spoke with Bill, who is the manager at this location. We talked for a bit and he apologized for how I was treated previously. Bill's a pretty good guy, he made me feel like my concerns were valid and he listened, instead of trying to give a blanket apology, like so many chain stores try to do.
I'll continue to keep coming back here, but I will leave the original review to show that bad experiences can be turned around into a good experience.

saw a banner on their front that said "HUGE SALE TODAY" so i come in, and ask, "what is this huge sale you're advertising?" and the angry redhead that works there SHOUTS AT ME
"LOTS OF RANDOM THINGS ARE ON SALE! I've had to answer that question so many times today! it's just a bunch of random stuff!"
so i just left. i don't need to spend money at a place like that, i can just give my money to other places.
WHY DO YOU ADVERTISE SALES AND GET MAD WHEN PEOPLE ASK ABOUT THEM?

Got some good trade in value for my xbox 360 and upgraded to an Xbox one S. The clerks were very friendly and helpful!

Hands down some of the best customer service and knowledgeable help you will ever find in the twin ports Northland... I don't know the guy's names but the two of them need a raise !!!! I went in intending to buy 1 or 2 games and left with way more thanks to the buy more get more off sale happening now......

Good store with lots of good stuff. Staff there is really friendly and knows the company and their products. Will keep returning

A little bit cramped for space, but it's fairly nicely located. The staff here has always been quite knowledgeable and helpful to a higher level than I'd expect, especially on the latter. It, like all GameStop stores is a little overpriced, but you're paying for the better service, and TONS more options and selection for all things gaming and many things pop culture related than the nearest national level competition.

Love going here for all my gaming and collectable needs!! Staff is super helpful, prices on new and used games are awesome and if they don't have something that you want, they make sure they get it for you! Always a great place to stop in.

This is my favorite local gamestop. There are three in my area, but the Manager always recognizes me and always has something kind to say. They have great promo events and it has a fun atmosphere.

Most Gamestops are going downhill, but I visited this one and was pleasantly surprised. They still had 360, PS3, Wii U and Wii games. As a retro game collector this was really cool to see. I will definitely be checking out this location on a regular basis while I do my rounds of Superior.
