First, I’ve searched many “Japanese Market” to find Fruit Sando. Places like Mitsuwa in edgewater, NJ. The Japanese market near the Brooklyn navy yard. And other various Japanese market and they didn’t have it. This place has it even if it’s not as spacious. They also have a space to sit down and eat dishes like ramen and takoyaki. Because of Mike Chen of Strictly Dumplings i wanted to visit Japan just to get a fruit sando from a conbini, and now I don’t have too!

I picked up some fresh (super frozen) Bluefin Otoro, Chutoro and Akami as well as some Japanese staples to make a nice nikiri sauce for a home made sushi night.

The pieces were very fresh, a nice cut at the right size for a decent value.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful.

Great addition to the area. They have a wonderful little eating area in the back of the store with yummy ramen and takoyaki balls. My son also loved their fried chicken. I hope they get enough foot traffic though because they’re in the back of a real estate office and next to an under construction spot so the place can easily be missed. They’re right across the street from Home Depot. I got the ramen and was disappointed at first because I thought they forgot my broth, but the broth was underneath the noodles and meat and were just separated with the plastic lid and I didn’t realize it for a minute or so. So just a heads up if you’re getting ramen to go from here for the first time. Lol!

Love this little shop. Little, but they have so much! Also, the nicest people work here. It's pretty true to a real Japanese Mart. Take a peak and go through the aisles carefully. You will discover something you must purchase. 😉

A nice little but packed with goods Japanese Mart. Lot of authentic Japanese goods that came from Japan and some are hard to find items. Great to discover this place, Inside there is a small restaurant that does take out or have a quick bite - its only reasonable.

I found that place begin by their online shopping service, but I never able to fill the shopping cart for free shipping, so I take a trip to visit the shop. But seems some of the stuffs in the web site are not available in the store, but that does not disappoint me at all and its only make sense that not everything can be in the store front.

Cute and conveniently located Japanese mart. Offers various Japanese goods and products. Towards the back, there's a restaurant that has a selection of Japanese food that rivals full-scale Japanese restaurants that can be found in Manhattan. Prices are all reasonable and service is exceptional.

I love this place. One of the only places to get all Japanese products and imports. Great prices, great selection. And there is an amazing kitchen in the back where you can sit and get a ton of different meals.

My only complaint is how far I live from this mart, but that's not a problem because it's worth the drive. My sister and the kids love to go shopping there too. This mart is always clean and organized. Walking in, we're greeted, a welcoming feeling. I love their fresh food too. Which is absolutely delicious.

I feel ashamed that it took me so long to discover this little gem! It can be easy to miss when driving by. It's small, but they pack a lot of stuff in here. Everything from your typical snacks like Pocky, to the harder to find Japanese cooking sauces and ice cream. The food I got from the restaurant counter in the back was delicious! They also have food to go, like sandwiches, Onigiri and Spam Musubi. Next door they have fun housewares and skincare/cosmetics. Also the employees are so helpful and kind!

I call it "Mini Mitsuwa" because I used to go to Mitsuwa (Jersey) all the time before the shuttle bus was taken away. Don't overpay for Japanese goods online, come here first and shop local! I used to pay $10 each on Amazon for crunchy soy sauce flakes, and Hanamaru has them for $5! Wooo!

I've only recently found out about this small store, and after my first visit, I'm already pretty fond of it. The staff here is nice and the variety of food that's sold is incredible. There's also a small restaurant where you can order hot food in the back. I'll definitely be coming back.

10/10 this place ticks all the boxes. Some items are priced a little high but others are more than fair. To be expected for a specialty import store. I'll be here often!

This is a delightful Japanese Mart with a restaurant in the back portion of the market. The restaurant has wonderful ramen and bentos. The resident ramen expert in our home always asks for this place by name. :)
