Stone's Candies

Best sponge candy you can find anywhere... period! I've tried many different kinds including Watson's and I would prefer Stone's any day!

Cold January day, and the lady at the counter was busy filling shelves with a smile while chatting with us. Great displays, great products.

Was visiting family in NY and was treated to this awesome sweet shoppe! We had Delicious soft serve ice cream, awesome milkshakes, and homemade candy. We definitely will make a habit to stop here on our visits!

Anytime we are back in NY, Stone's is a must stop. Grew up in CNY, and this place has the very best candies. Dark chocolate turtles can not be matched anywhere 😋.

It has that hometown feeling you're looking for. Their Caramel Pecan Turtles (which are rectangular shaped but oh so good)and Caramels, Sea Salt or plain are made in house and are the best I've ever had! And their seasonal items such as peanut brittle and sponge candy can not be beat. The staff is friendly and quick, and they have a beautiful patio for folks to enjoy with their homemade custard!

Great place for soft serve Ice cream, custard, and candy. The staff is friendly on every visit, the service is exceptional, and if you have inquiries regarding their tasty treats, the staff is always able to provide knowledge.

The pumpkin/vanilla custard twist is amazing. I asked for a taste and she gave me a cup! I was expecting a spoon. And the medium sized cone was huge!!

I remember going to Stones on Bridge Street over 50 years ago and went to same location only to see they had moved. Found it, was awesome but the memorable smell was not the same but the taste of their custard was the best as usual and their chocolate 😋. A blast from the past. Prices were VERY fair!!! Glad i found it😉❤

Always a favorite in a new place. They've moved to W. Seneca but still in Oswego. They were out if some of our favorites but it was late sunday night. What they did have was some new things like caramel corn but still have the yummy ice cream as well as custard at a walk to window. A real win!

The cashier with the short blonde hair had excellent costumer service skills. Very helpful and kind! And the chocolate is great as always!!

I recently saw a Facebook post about Stone’s Candy. I lived in Oswego in the late 70’s-1980 during High School. I’ve often thought about my Mom bringing me home their amazing sponge candy. Milk Chocolate covered and plain are my favorite. I got in touch with an old friend from Oswego and he told me Stone’s shipped worldwide. My candy arrived this week and it was even better than I remembered! Brought me right back to the careless days of youth spent in Oswego. Thank You Stone’s!

My favorite candy store with THE BEST chocolate covered potato chips and sponge candy! Visit every year in the fall
