Lakeside Commons | Oswego Student Housing

Lakeside commons has been the best living experience of my college career. It’s absolutely incredible. You get your own bathroom, all updated appliances, you can pick your roomies and even have pets!!! I have met some of my best friends here and I get to live with my cat! It’s super close to campus and they have a shuttle that takes you to and from campus if you don’t have a car! Highly recommend for any college student who doesn’t want to live in the dorms and wants a more luxury living experience!!

I’ve lived here for more than a year now and it is definitely one of the best ways to live off campus! It’s super close so it’s easy to get back and forth to class- with a shuttle provided that travels on campus (as well as to Walmart on Sundays.) There is a clubhouse that you can use for recreational time with their pool table and various items as well as a space to study and work academically. There is a public fire place outside that is a great place to make friends and grill! The gym in the clubhouse is open for use 24/7 and is a clean and comfortable environment for the residents to get fit! Inside of the apartments it has a clean modern look that just feels like home. Every room has their own bathroom and closet space. As well as a fully furnished apartment for when you just feel like relaxing at home! When asked where someone should stay off campus the first thing that always comes to mind is, Lakeside commons!

I had such an amazing and welcoming experience at lakeside. The staff was very helpful and you could tell they care about their residents. They offer 3 floor plans. My favorite is the 2x2. And they have great amenities. So much that they offer! Definitely worth it!

I love that Lakeside Commons came furnsihed and that we have our own bathroom!! It is really easy to apply to live here and since I go to SUNY Oswego, it made it really easy to get to campus. I also got to choose who I was living with which made the choice of living here that much easier. 100% recommend to any student!

I love living at my time at Lakeside. It is by far the best housing option at SUNY Oswego! I stay at the village for one year and this place is 10 times nicer

This is my second semester here at lakeside commons, and so far it has been a great living environment. Last semester, I had very little problems with my apartment and when I did put in a work order, it was addressed within a couple days. I often recommend lakeside commons to friends that are looking for off campus housing because of the benefits they offer.

The staff at Lakeside were very welcoming and a joy to work with. Veronica made it so easy to organize a tour and was so informative. My daughter loves living at Lakeside Commons. Her apartment is roomy and she has all the privacy a young lady needs as she tackles her goals in Oswego. Thanks again Veronica for helping us make her transition into college life so flawless.

A very well thought out concept in terms of apartments, and amenity living. With staff who listens and cares about their residents. I love my cat, and being here with him. The mailroom is also nice.

My visit at the Lakeside Commons has been excellent. The amenities are well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and responsive. I was greeted by Veronica at the front desk, she was very helpful and attentive. She gave me a tour of the facility and my future unit that I will be living in. I am so excited to live here next fall!

Leaving this review based on how very strongly I feel about @lakesideoswego being the best living accommodations off-campus option I found for my daughter. Not only do they offer her the privacy of her own bedroom & bathroom, but Lakeside also offers its residents multiple amenities to enjoy including a gym, a clubhouse & a study lounge. It is a mere 5-minute commute to SUNY Oswego and for those without cars they offer an exclusive resident-only shuttle bus service to/from campus and downtown. And finally, a special kudos to staff member Veronica, she was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions on our introductory phone call and then led us on a tour!

As a recent resident of the Lakeside Commons community, Ive had a pleasure of meeting and leasing with the exceptional management team, but one person that stood out and went out of their way to help when there were questions or concerns regarding billing and maintenance was "Kyvon". I can say that moving to commons was no easy task, but management staff like Kyvon are the reason I believe I’m still living in this space without the stress of worrying too much about upcoming problems. I definitely would recommend living here and giving it a try for newcomers. Great work management, I appreciate it :D

I recently had the pleasure of interacting with Kyvon at the office, and I going to share my outstanding experience with his exceptional customer service. From the moment I walked in, Kyvon went above and beyond to ensure that my needs were met. He answered every question I had and made my worries go away. He greeted me with a warm and friendly demeanor, creating a welcoming atmosphere. He informed me a lot about the property, floor plan, and the benefits of living in the commons compared to campus living.

Really nice spot! I came in for a tour and was introduced to these apartments and the amenities that come with it, really nicely! I got a great tour from one of your employees, Brielle! She was very friendly and answered all questions I had. Definitely will be signing with you guys!

I called because I had a couple of questions regarding the housing at lakeside. Got the chance to speak with Brielle and she was able to not only answer my questions but offered me a tour. I can’t express enough how accommodating and respectful young woman she was over the phone. Reasons like this was a major factor in why I’m choosing to live in the commons next year!

Called to ask a few questions about the apartments to compare other ones i was looking at. Spoke to Veronica and she was so helpful, informative, kind, understanding it actually felt like she cared about my questions even if I ultimately wasnt choosing these commons. Amazing employee wish everyone i called had her attitude. Veronica should honestly train new comers.

If you are going to take a tour of Lakeside, I hope you are fortunate enough to have Veronica as your guide. She is a lovely young woman. So pleasant to be around. Her tour was incredibly informative. This young woman is going places.

PJ is such a great help to this community, he reminds us of the up to date events in the clubhouse and also helps out with any lease questions I have. He notices everyone and manages to stay positive in difficult circumstances. His customer service is quick and reliable.

As an upcoming transfer student that will be attending Oswego I had so many questions about residential living that I wanted to find out. Brielle gave me all the answers I needed! She gave such enthusiastic and helpful responses to all my questions I had!

I had such a great experience with Veronica . She was pleasant , informative and genuinely nice. She also helped me with the buses and got me to my classes on time! Great help to me !

I called to inquire about apartments in my area recently. A nice lady Veronica was very helpful in answering all my questions and was very informative on transportation to and from school, the hot spots in town and all my questions on the apartments. She was wonderful and very informative.
