River's End Bookstore

Stopped by on the way home to Rochester and was pleasantly surprised by the bright, cozy, little bookstore I found on Bridge Street. I loved all of the staff recs and found the local section to be quite expansive! The workers were pleasant and helpful as I selected a book! Would definitely recommend to residents and people passing through!

Perfect lazy Monday... curry chicken salad sandwich at Nora's. Cup of coffee at Coffee Connection served by Rob... topped by a browse and purchase at the River's End bookstore. The warmth, character, well-curated and generous inventory makes it my new favorite book shop. My kind of day.

I love BOOKS and this BOOKstore has great BOOKS and great atmosphere. The staff are also very nice and give some good BOOK recommendations as well.

I love this store and am thankful it's around. There are several local Oswego businesses I have been in where they act like you are bothering them, rather than being thankful for your business - that is not at all the case here. All employees I have ever encountered here have been very pleasant. They have lots of great bestsellers and books on the local area. I will support this business over Amazon any day.

Great as always!! He went out of his way to be accommodating. He is polite & engages in conversation when no one else is in the store needing his assistance. The conversation leads to other books being suggested. More people should shop local.

I literally never goto a bookstore but needed gift for my kid. This place is AWESOME. The staff is very helpful! They even wrap your books around Christmas time for free! The lady v

I ordered some books online as Christmas presents and River's End dropped them in my mailbox, free of charge, because we live on the way home for one of their employees! It was so thoughtful and kind! Once I reviewed the books, two were not the right age group for my niece and nephew. River's End gladly exchanged them for me in the store. Don't give your money to big online retailers--shop local and support this wonderful place!

I love this bookstore. I've been going there for years and I'm always happy to return. The staff is informative and very friendly. They love to read and can give good recommendations. Sometimes there are events or book signings. They also have a children's reading time with a few books where they discuss themes and ideas. It's really lovely there.

I've had great experiences visiting here. All the staff have always been super friendly and gone above and beyond to help me with any questions I had. They even were kind enough to give me many suggestions on books I might like based on what I had come in for as well. I love shopping at our local businesses and the rivers end book store is certainly on my top list of places I go. I would highly recommend them. If they don't have a book in stock they are always willing to help order it for you, even when I couldn't remember the title of a few that I was searching for their customer service was outstanding and the staff did everything they could to help search for it based off of what information I did have.

Cute, quiet little bookstore conveniently located in the middle of Oswego. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My daughter loved hanging out in the little wooden treehouse while I browsed. They didn't have what I was looking for, but was able to order it. Order was placed on Friday, came in on Tuesday and I received a courtesy call letting me know. Pick up was fast and easy. We will definitely be coming back again!

Literally my favorite store in the world. Such a welcoming atmosphere. They always have a great selection without being overwhelming with choices.

I regularly visited this very lovely Bookstore many years ago while briefly living in Oswego. The staff are so friendly. It's a truly great place to find all the great new reads. Very clean store with Nice Welcoming Ambience.
