Rittenhouse Market

Whenever I shop at Rittenhouse Market, I'm blown away by their fruits and veggies. They're always super fresh and the quality is amazing, way better than what you usually find. Sure, you might pay a bit more, but honestly, it's worth it when you taste the difference in your meals.

Traveling for business, and this market is a great neighborhood find in this area. Most markets in the area are way overpriced, and the Rittenhouse market is almost like the larger grocery stores with better prices. The cashiers are friendly too! I didn’t bring a bag on my first visit, they gave me a reusable bag. I bring it each time, and come back regularly for quick items to stock in my hotel fridge. I also get quick snacks for journaling and enjoying the outdoors in Rittenhouse Square.

I especially prefer to shop here for produce. I can usually expect to find quality fruits and vegetables whereas if I go to Acme or some chain I sometimes can't find any produce that I would want to eat. The products they sell are generally of good quality and the staff are very friendly.

Small, local grocery store with a wide variety of produce and other products. But at "Rittenhouse" prices. I typically just pop in when I need just a few items. The staff are friendly and helpful. Wish they carried the Kite Hill brand of non-dairy products or the full Violife line of dairy-free, as well as 647 Low-Carb breads, bagels and English muffins.

Very friendly Staff, no matter who is serving you. Always find what I am looking for (Ceasar flavored Harvest Snaps) unlike most other stores where I try to buy them😳 (Please keep them coming). Located in a nice section of town as well. JKM.

A remarkably complete store given its relatively small size. I must also point out that complaints about high prices are completely unfounded for the majority of items. Indeed, I have found some that are below prices elsewhere including supermarkets and a few specialty stores. I have also found the staff extremely helpful. If I call to inquire about an item the staff will always offer to go look if they do not know offhand. I consider this store essential for many grocery needs.

Excellent local go to when you don't want to go to a full sized market. Great deli counter and friendly service.

The isles may be tight but they pack in every you need. There is even self checkout available.

Lovely small market in the Rittenhouse Square neighborhood. Don't be fooled by it's small size. This market has everthing you need and the chicken salad at the deli at the back of the store is to die for!!!

Have been coming here for years. It really is a neighborhood mainstay. Good selection of specialty and "regular" products, fresh produce, and a great deli. People are nice too. While I don't do my primary grocery shopping here, I'm in the store at least twice a week. Yes, it is more expensive but I don't have to get my car out. I would miss it terribly if it closed.

This place is like Mary Poppin's bag - unassuming from the front but quite big inside. And they are really well stocked and well staffed. They have just about everything. The deli has a soup bar, rotisserie chickens and they make sandwiches, too. Try their Walnut & Cranberry Chicken Salad. (It's one of a few different chicken salads they offer.) Yum! What a wonderful neighborhood gem!!

My store very nice area very respectable neighborhood and people if you want to feel safe and have a good time come to this area. Some parts of the city should clean up their act so we can come visit their areas they can learn a lot from this location and neighborhood.

Great shop in Center city, fresh and good fruits and veggies! Nice staff too, a little bit more expensive than other store but you pay for the quality. Rittenhouse Market really became my favorite place to shop!

Walking distance from me. I should definitely shop here more often. They have all of the basics as well as a lot of more specific items that I can't find at the larger stores. Great selection. Good prices. Great quality of food and standard of service. Shop here.

For the past 5 years that I have been living in Rittenhouse square this has become my main market. They do a rotisserie chicken everyday for right around $5 which is to die for totally delicious.have all the same selections that your major supermarket would but also have a lot of organic and healthy choice selections that are not found commonly in all supermarkets.this is a family-run business most of the employees who are there have been there for a long time. Service great people great market.
